TEAM ROCKET'S STORAGE SPACE

SWEET POISON- What should a Rocketshippy fanfic really be like? It shouldn't be anything like the bulk of Rocketshipness, that's for sure. A true Team Rocket relationship would be joyful, grief-stricken, violent, gender-bending, overtly sexual, unthinking- basically, schizophrenic and it shouldn't be able to work. Rather like Team Rocket themselves. And so we come to this story, an exploration of the relationship's early days and Team Rocket's struggle against a horrific threat. Rated R, and for good reason- one reviewer called it "the worst story I ever read", which I take as a compliment.

THE GOOD NIGHT- When you can't get to sleep at night, you start to think about things. I ended up thinking about old age and death. This lead, eventually, to this fanfic. Because Team Rocket don't work if they're not young, and the characters probably know it. They have reason to fear age, with their obsession with their youthful looks. How do they cope with this? A sequel of sorts to Sweet Poison, this is both a rather personal story and also, I think, a truly optimistic one.

"POKEMON LIVE!" COMIC TREATMENT- Back in early 2001, when I was a young sprog, I decided to turn the Pokemon Live musical into a three-issue miniseries that could be used as the genesis for a monthly UK Pokemon comic. I tracked down the company that owned the license and I submitted to them a heavy synopsis, guide to the show & what could be done with the characters, and a nice cover letter. It turned out they felt it was too late to hitch a ride on the Pokemon trend and that they could never make original content anyway. Hence, the comic was never made (seeing as I was only 14 at the time, this may be a good thing). Most of the stuff I sent has been deleted off my hard-drive, but this synopsis still remains...

POKEMON REVOLUTION- A fanfic I co-wrote that tells the epic struggle of the Pokemon against humanity. Blood, moral death and iconoclasm abounds.
