BIG DADDY
Allegiance: Maximal
Sub-group: Hot Rod Patrol Micromasters
Function: Soldier
"We can take you any place, any time!"

History: Big Daddy and his pals the Hot Rod Patrol were young rebels pre-war, zooming across highways and generally misbehaving. They remained neutrals during the early years of the war, dodging the fighting and stealing Energon, until Trannis obliterated Iacon; this made them realise that if they didn’t pick a side, they’d be wiped out. They joined the Autobots. They often got deactivated due to their messing about, and thus ended being converted to Micromasters in 1995 as a form of discipline. The Hot Rod Patrol eventually broke up. Big Daddy became bored of Cybertron and joined Overload’s exodus off-planet in the hope that Faux Cybertron would be more fun.

Profile: Big Daddy is a high-performance avenger with a mischievous streak, and is often mistaken for a Predacon punk. Though preoccupied with fun, he is still able to quickly respond to emergency situations. Courage and tenacity are his finest attributes.

Abilities: He possesses 16 cylinders of carbonic Autobot muscle. He is able to spot danger using kelvar-energized localized radar. He maintains his car mode and fires lasers built in to his optics and car mode headlights.

WeaknessesHis car mode is ill-suited to rough terrain. Big Daddy’s grandstanding has been known to jeopardise missions.

VROOM
Allegiance: Maximal

Function: Gladiator (pre-war, 2340), saboteur, SAR Squad leader, high-velocity fighter
"Don't take a chance if you don't stand a chance."

History: Vroom was one of the most famous Iacon gladiators during the State Games, and swiftly proved himself to be a vicious saboteur during the Asphalt Wars on Cybertron, where the Autobot’s and Decepticons fought viciously to control the roadways of what would later be called Slaughter City. In this struggle, he became a dread menace, destroyed Decepticon fuel and cargo convoys single-handed. He was a key member of the Autobot rebellion until he sustained serious damage at the hands of the Dark Universe Galvatron in 1990 while covering Xaaron’s retreat. He was reactivated in 1994 to help battle against Jhiaxus. Vroom became the leader of a SAR Squad, with Doubleheader as his second-in-command during the early 21st Century, and was hurt by Doubleheader’s betrayal.

Several years after Star Saber came to Cybertron in 2013, Vroom became bored, seeing as the war became practically over. He left the planet and travelled about the galaxy looking for action. When the Decepti-Kombat tournament was announced in 2340, he returned to Cybertron and was promptly taken out in Round One by Rack’n’Ruin, though not before showing an extremely vicious streak in trying to crush their brain modules. He was humiliated by his early defeat and became increasingly violent; despite this, he was amassing a following among some of the more undesirable members of the Autobot populace. Seeing that he was a threat, Star Saber had him brainwashed and sent to Faux Cybertron.

Profile: Vroom is a drag racing daredevil. While he used to be an adventurous, heroic type, he has become a mean-spirited brawler. He is never happier than when he is blazing his way through the enemy ranks. He has been reprogrammed to believe he is on the real Cybertron and a lot of his historical data has been altered- he doesn’t remember Decepti-Kombat and sometimes hangs out with Neogens who both he and they have been brainwashed into believing are also Autobot veterans. He maintains his mean streak and post-Decepti-Kombat feelings of humiliation, but doesn’t know why.

Abilities: He is armed with two exterior 3000 rounds-per-minute ion pulse guns, a magnetic repeller rifle and a mind-altering Illusionizer that distorts optic impulses. He transforms from a Ceolophysis into a robot sporting a bike helmet. He drives a Battle Cycle which is actually his old Mega-Pretender shell stuck in its bike mode; it is equipped with oil slick and smokescreen ejection mechanisms, retractable tire spikes, hydraulic jumpers and rocket boosters in rear that provide short-term flight capabilities.

Weaknesses: He has a tendency to throw himself into fights with all the odds stacked against him, and is extremely anti-social.

PINCHER

Allegiance: Maximal
Sub-groups: Pretender
Function: Chemical engineer, military scientist
"Be humble of word but great in deed."

History: Pincher was a top student at the Autobot Academy of Science before the war; when the whole Autobot population ended up conscripted into the army, Pincher reluctantly became a military scientist. He spent most of the war in the background, working in the lab, except for 1990 when he, Doubleheader and Longtooth were sent to Gottleib during the Matrix Quest. He eventually grew to hate Cybertron due to the public’s easy acceptance of Star Saber’s tyranny, which went against everything he thought they’d been fighting for, and became part of Overload’s exodus to the Faux Cybertron.

Profile: Pincher most resembles a mad scientist from old Earth movies- he’s constantly in the lab creating strange and new chemicals for combat use. He’s humble and unassuming, despite his major achievements in military science. The reason for this is less to do with piety or more because he hates having his creations being used for killing- he himself avoids killing wherever possible, even using a stun rifle in combat situations.

Abilities: He concocts metal-eating corrosive acids, oxidizing agents and other powerful formulas, and fires them from syringes in his arms in robot mode and his stinger in scorpion mode. His stinger can inject paralysing Cybervenom. Pincher can emit a circular forcefield in robot mode, and his weapon of choice is a stun rifle that fires short bursts of metal-fusing Energon.

Weaknesses: Because of his attempts to avoid killing enemies, he can take heavy damage in the battlefield and compromise team efficiency. If a shot hits his internal chemical storage vats, his insides could be seriously damaged.

OVERLOAD
Allegiance: Maximal
Function: Obliterator, Micromaster troop transport
"Know the enemy and he's yours."

Profile by Martin McVay

Overload

History: Overload was one of the original legion of Autobot Obliterators, the heavy ground assault robots commissioned by Optimus Prime to halt Megatron's advance across Cybertron. And like Pyro and Spark he survived the years of open warfare and the fall of Iacon, Emirate Xaaron taking pains to save the last few machines when he fled the city and went underground. Overload served under various cell leaders in his time, including Fortress Maximus, Perceptor, Dai-Atlas and his fellow Obliterator Pyro. His luck eventually ran out, however, when his patrol was ambushed by Terrorcons and annihilated. The next thing Overload knew, it was 1995 and he had been restored as a Micromaster, with a trailer unit replacing his old Obliterator battle station. After the Cyberforming of Earth, Overload uninstalled his size-changing hardware, so that he no
longer expands in vehicle mode but remains the size of a Maximal. With a lower energy signature and fuel consumption he now thinks of himself as a Maximal. Disillusioned with Star Saber's regime, he and a few other similarly down-sized Autobots smuggled themselves from Alpha Centauri to Earth where they hope to go into peaceful retirement.

Profile:  A bold and daring soldier, Overload often broke away from cargo-hauling missions to join his fellow Autobots on the battlefield, even after his Micromaster revival. He is an overlooked tactical genius on the front line, bringing order and courage to confused and frightened troops wherever he goes.

Abilities: Overload's trailer converts into a turbo-boosted, supersonic fighter jet armed with wing-mounted, double-barrelled machine-guns. Laser guided, lock-target scanners provide pinpoint firepower. The jet is capable of reaching speeds in excess of Mach 2, and is also equipped with hydrofoil capabilities. No longer big enough to carry full-size cars, his articulated lorry mode acts as a transport for a few Maximals and Micromasters who, like him, have forsaken their expansion to full-scale vehicle modes.

Weaknesses: Overload cannot take his trailer with him wherever he goes, for example inside buildings. When he is separated from it, he is vulnerable, particularly since unlike Optimus Prime he has no mental link to it. It cannot operate without a pilot.

LIGHTSPEED
Allegiance: Star Former
Sub-group: Motorvators
Function: Scout
"Light-years flash past at mind-numbingly sub-atomic speeds."

Profile by Martin McVay

History: The Motorvators Flame, Gripper and Lightspeed were built as Autobots in the year 2000 and given life by Optimus Prime using the Creation Matrix. Their body designs were based on Imperial Brainmaster specifications given by Star Saber in exchange for Autobot Micromaster technology. They were assigned to work under Thunderclash, however, and soon came to think of themselves as Star Formers rather than Autobots. With Thunderclash's death in 2013, they returned with Skyhammer and his followers to Imperial space, leaving the surviving Turbomasters and other like-minded Star Formers with the Autobots. Unbeknownst to their former allies, the Motorvators have since clashed a number of times with the fugitive Nanobot-created Transformers, in particular Overlord. The Motorvators' Micromaster Energon components have been specially enhanced to defend themselves from Overlord's Nanobot master units. More recently, Lightspeed's Energon component has been despatched to the Cyberformed Earth by Skyhammer posing as a Maximal, to find out Star Saber's plans regarding that world.

Profile: During the Motorvators' secret wars with Overlord they gained a certain amount of Nanobot technology, including speed-enhancing circuits similar to those of the Autobot Blurr. Lightspeed has thereby gained a similar speed potential to Blurr. Unlike the Autobot it has not been applied to his mind, just his body, and yet it would not be untrue to say that his new abilities have gone to his head. As quick as he is, he's not as fast as he thinks he is. Despite his boasts, his ground speed record falls far short of his name, and as a result, regardless of the fact that he has never been beaten in a race, he constantly feels he has to prove what he can do.

Abilities: Lightspeed rockets ahead of his team on reconnaissance missions. His Energon figure is fitted with micro-lens photo-record equipment and supplies all the data Flame and Gripper need to formulate their battle plan. In robot form his speed element is transferred to fighting ability. His lethal laser-jousting technique renders his laserblade invisible in motion. This impossibly rapid Motorvator is beyond the reach of the slow moving Overlord. Even Overlord's jet module is unable to track him - a blur on the radar, he's already on his way back.

WeaknessesStranded on Earth without his larger robot body, Lightspeed's fighting ability is severely reduced. He has yet to demonstrate the full potential of his Energon form, but is in danger of getting himself killed speeding ahead without making allowances for his reduced capability.

CALCAR
Allegiance: Decepticon (ex-Dominator)
Sub-group: Trakkons
Function: Battle analyst
"It doesn't matter who suffers, it only matters that evil wins the day."

Profile by Martin McVay for his fanfic "Fission"

History: Perhaps the greatest tactician in the Cybertronian Empire, Calcar was unable to save the great Dominator fleet from the insanity of
Galvatron. All he and his fellow Trakkon Fearswoop could do was escape with a pair of E-100 Battle Cruisers complement of E-12 Arachnid fighter carriers and E-1 Interceptors. The main Decepticon army now in a shambles, the Trakkons searched for a new leader both rational and charismatic to rebuild their forces, and pilots for their otherwise useless space fleet. They found the first in Clench, but the second proved difficult as more and more warriors chose to either flee or surrender.

Profile: Cold and calculating, a single-minded walking computer, Calcar carries in his photographic memory every step of every Decepticon
battle ever fought. He plunders the circuits of robot masterminds, both friend and foe, to enhance his own intellectual capacity. In the late 24th Century he purloined the near-dead carcass of Perceptor from Star Saber's stronghold on Cybertron, reconstructed his neural pathways, stripped
them of Circuit Ninety's mathematical hardware, and discarded him. In battle this vicious genius uses his vast knowledge to blood-curdling effect, but like many of the best tacticians he prefers to direct operations from a safe distance - except where there is the prospect of gaining new technology for himself, of course.

Abilities: As a tough all-terrain vehicle, Calcar defends himself with roof-mounted, four-barrel visible tracer missile fire. As a robot, his primary
weapon forms a devastating gun turret which may be operated either manually or by mental command. His Trakkon targeting system is Lightformer technology, plundered millennia ago from the Star Former Sector of the Cybertronian Empire.

Weaknesses: Calcar is despised by other strategists and leaders alike for his parasitic means of self-enhancement. He walks a fine line between being indispensable to his commander and an unacceptable personal liability.

FEARSWOOP
Allegiance: Decepticon (ex-Dominator)
Sub-group: Trakkons
Function: Attack specialist
"Let terror and evil reign in the skies - and show no Autobot mercy."

Profile by Martin McVay for his fanfic "Fission"

History: Like his more intellectual partner Calcar, Fearswoop's abilities are largely based on technology plundered from the Star Formers (in
particular, their Lightformer processes), though he is reluctant to undergo similar mental upgrades. He provides the extra muscle and command
vote often necessary to get Decepticon leaders to follow Calcar's recommendations, though it cut little ice in the case of Galvatron. Disgusted at the
embarrassing series of fiascos which saw the destruction of the once unstoppable Dominator fleet, Fearswoop convinced his fellow Trakkon
to leave while they still could. Taking the best ships still available, they fled towards the old Imperial Frontier, invited applications for the open position of fleet commander, and finally found a suitable candidate in the form of Clench. The war was not over yet.

Profile: Fearswoop is cunning, gifted, and completely evil. When his vile shadow falls, even the bravest must shudder. He is particularly brilliant in
his use of advanced stealth technology.

Abilities: As a plane, he swoops down with wing-mounted, visible tracer attacking action. As a robot, his main cannon forms a powerful free-standing weapon. Lightformer targeting technology increases his accuracy in either mode.

Weaknesses: While almost invisible to radar and other sophisticated scanning technology, at night Fearswoop may be visually detected from the
ground by the residual glow from his weapons systems.

CLENCH
Allegiance: Decepticon
Sub-group: Obliterator
Function: War-lord
"I will not rest until the last Autobot is crushed to nothing and Decepticons rule!"

Profile by Martin McVay for his fanfic "Fission"

History: In the early stages of the Autobot-Decepticon war, Megatron bestowed a variety of battle configurations on his followers. In the skies,
the Strike Planes ruled supreme, but when it came to heavy ground assault, the Obliterator battle trailers struck terror into those manning the Autobot front lines. Being the first in any attack, most of the Obliterators were destroyed over the years, and only two survived to see
the fall of Iacon to Trannis, namely Clench and Colossus. These two war machines were spared the heaviest of the fighting when they began to display leadership qualities and strategic ability, and swiftly rose through the ranks. After the departure of Jhiaxus and the bulk of Decepticon High Command, a new wave of Decepticon war-lords took their seats of power across the planet, answerable to Straxus as he, Jhiaxus, Thunderclash, Skyquake, Star Saber and Deathsaurus had been answerable to Trannis. Among these new tyrants were the likes of Scorponok, Thunderwing,
Gutcruncher, the Legonis/Octus/Seizer triumvirate, Clench and Colossus.

When the Autobots occupied the planet from 1991 up until 1996, Clench and Colossus fled to Earth and took on the appearances of articulated lorries. In late 1993 Clench ambushed Optimus Prime and destroyed his combining trailer. Only the intervention of Clench's opposite number, the
Autobot Obliterator Pyro, saved Prime from certain death.

During the years that saw the final break-up of the Decepticon army, Clench commandeered a pair of Dominator E-100 Battle Cruisers salvaged by the Trakkons Calcar and Fearswoop. He gathered around him a crew of surviving warriors, among them Flamefeather, Pounce, Sparkstalker and
Wingspan, and began a hit-and-run war with the overstretched Autobot First and Second Space Battalions led by Grimlock, Sky Lynx and Countdown.

Profile: A vehicle of terrifying power and pure evil, Clench combines a keen brain with diabolical cruelty. His whole being is dedicated to
vengeance on those who have laid the Decepticons low. A nightmare opponent, powered by pure hate and the thought of ultimate victory,
he overwhelms, flattens, and throws aside anybody foolish enough to get in his way. Only his sharp mind holds in check his natural instinct for an
all-out assault against superior enemy forces.

Abilities: As a vehicle, Clench attacks from all sides with horrific firepower, and does incredible damage with his vicious, rear-mounted
grabbing claw. He is menacing in intermediate mode as a multi-purpose battle station, and as a gigantic robot towers terrifyingly above all
but the most formidable opponents.

Weaknesses: Clench has no significant weaknesses, unless you count his refusal to give up the fight when wiser Decepticons such as Swindle and
Octane choose to save their lives by making peace with the Autobots.

GUTCRUNCHER
Allegiance: Decepticon
Function: War-lord, Actionmaster commander, air-to-ground support
"Conquest of the Autobots begins with control of the sky!"

Profile by Martin McVay for his fanfic "Fission"

History: For countless millennia, Gutcruncher was a feared Decepticon war-lord akin to Scorponok and Clench, but in 214,767 BC he and his followers (who included the lethal Hunter-Seeker Skyship Roughstuff and the giant tank Decepticon Terror-Tread) were met in open battle by the
Autobot Resistance cell led by Dai-Atlas (and including Liner, Mainframe, Retro, Roadfire, Sprocket, Sonic Bomber and Surge) which had been
plaguing them for the last 500 years. In the carnage that followed, almost all the combatants - including all those mentioned above - were destroyed.

In 1995 the new Creation Matrix, Nucleon and Micromaster technology made the reactivation of fallen warriors more feasible and energy-efficient
than it had been previously, and many of those who had been rendered inoperative were salvaged and rebuilt - some of them as Micromasters
(Liner's scattered remains being used to create Sixliner) and Action-Masters. Gutcruncher was appointed leader of the latter contingent of
Decepticons. In the closing decades of the Autobot-Decepticon war in the distant future, he rallies a last force of several hundred
warriors, among them Overkill, Skystalker, Slicer, Slugfest and Trypticon, for a final attempt to retake Cybertron from Star Saber. In the 32nd
Century the Storyteller is reported to have appeared on the wreckage-strewn battlefield where he made his last stand, and where the nosecone of his ruined Action-Master vehicle can still be seen lying where it crashed.

Profile: Gutcruncher shares the Decepticons' dream of total defeat of the Autobots, but for his own reasons. He has a contract with Megatron to trade their remains to the Junkions and other interplanetary spare parts dealers for vast quantities of Energon cubes. This cold, calculating capitalist views all opponents as potential profit.

Abilities: Following his Action-Master revival (which involved a down-sizing from giant to standard robot size) Gutcruncher pilots the
space-faring Stratotronic Jet (resembling his original changeform) which has a maximum speed of 40,000 miles per hour and is armed with fusion bombs, two cruise missiles, a particle beam, infra-red laser guns and more. It converts into a devastating battle station with missile launcher and fusion blaster cannon, and also includes a pilotless surveillance drone and one-man battle tank.

Weaknesses: Greed and overconfidence.

SKYHAMMER
Allegiance: Star Former
Function: Ground-and-air assault, Liege Centuro (2014 onwards)
"There is no disgrace in not succeeding, only in not trying."

Profile by Martin McVay

History: With the death of Thunderclash in 2013, the Star Former Senate voted to sever its ties with the Autobots and return the focus of its military
might to the security of its own sector of the Galaxy, where numerous Cyberworlds and Dyson Spheres populated by billions of peaceful Imperial citizens required immediate protection from countless potential threats. However, the Star Formers' foremost military officers, who had fought alongside the Autobots for approaching two decades, refused to withdraw, choosing instead to remain on Cybertron. Among these were the
Rescue Force, the Lightformers, Elita-One's Special Operations Group and all the surviving Turbomasters. The most senior commander to return home in the end was Skyhammer. The Senate accordingly bestowed upon him the rank of Liege Centuro and the task of defending the Star Former Sector from the influence of the Transformers war.

Profile: A valiant, vigilant warrior dedicated to defending the innocent, Skyhammer is determined to keep his sector of the Galaxy free from
the violence and chaos plaguing other Cybertronian territories. Devoted to his innocent citizenry on the ground, he, Gunrunner and Road Rocket watch over them as they command the massive Star Former space fleet from the invincible Star City. Woe betide any Cyberformer, Quintesson
or Decepticon trespasser who strays into their jurisdiction or hopes to pass through it on their way to the K'Tor Cluster wormholes. Even Autobots would be well advised to keep clear unless they have an invitation from the highest authority.

Abilities: Skyhammer transforms into an automated high-tech sky cruiser ideal for defending against enemy attack. Thermal blasters in his wings
liquefy metal on impact. Front-mounted high-frequency modulators provide long-range audio and visual surveillance and tracking
capabilities. Coolant vents in his nosecone emit black clouds of sleep gas, and top-mounted turbo-fans can produce cyclonic wind funnels. He is also armed with twin lightning bolt cannons and a programmable, steel-shattering sonic overloader. His outer shell is armed with a photon pistol and converts into a super-sonic hoverjet.

Weaknesses: Skyhammer's single-minded drive to prevent any outside force from disturbing the tranquil lives of his people has led him to become
increasingly isolationist. He does not look for allies or friendship with those outside his borders, remembering what happened when Thunderclash sought to make peace with the Autobots - the Liege Maximo was killed and the 4,000,000-year stability of the Empire crumbled overnight. Skyhammer's is the only sector of the Milky Way still intact, and he means to keep it that way.

RACK'N'RUIN
Allegiance: Autobot
Sub-group: The Wreckers
Function: Warrior
"Come and have a go if you think yer hard enough!"

History: Rack and Ruin are the biomorphic spawn of Decepticon warlord Trannis, but were cast out because of his/their mutation that caused them to be bonded as one being. They were found by the Autobots and seperated into separate beings. They became crucial members of the legendary commando squad known as the Wreckers. During the Wrecker mission that assassinated Jhiaxus, they were badly damaged by Jhiaxus and a Decepticon double-agent posing as an Autobot medic rejoined them, claiming it was the only way to save their lives. They spent the next four million years conjoined, calling themselves Rack'n'Ruin. They were involved in many missions before being deactivated by Galvatron in 1989 and spent a decade in repairs. They eventually fell out of the public eye and into alcoholism.

In 2340, they participated in Decepti-Kombat on behalf of the mysterious organiser of the contest, who had saved their lives when they were leaking to death in a New Iacon back alley. Now they were stronger than before, enhanced by Nanobots and having the ability to split into Rack and Ruin on command. They defeated Vroom and Overkill in the tournament before being beaten by Sunstreaker- it was after this they discovered their true origins and that the mysterious organiser was a resurrected Trannis (now called Overlord). They escaped capture and were part of a strike team that brought Overlord down.

Profile: Alternates between eerie silence and boisterous activity. Rack'n'Ruin enjoy fighting and drinking, and approach both with much enthusiasm. While they act like the sort of Autobot that gets killed off in this week's apocalyptic event, they are actually effective combatants, using a bizarre form of hand-to-hand combat and a fierce loyalty to their fellow Wreckers. While they hate Overlord/Trannis due to his callous treatment of them in the past, they refuse to be depressed and dark over their origins- as they say, "You can't choose your family, so to hell with it. You ain't the boss of us."

Abilities: Rack'n'Ruin can separate into Rack and Ruin, both who become identical Autobot Strike Planes armed with thermal lasers, missiles and state-of-the-art targeting systems. They can combine jet forms/transform as Rack'n'Ruin to become a heavily-armoured bomber craft, and in in separate robot form can combine into a gargantuan 4-limbed warrior. Nanobots allow them to self-heal, and their heads can transform into miniature versions of themselves ala Headmasters for when they're immobilised. They are immensely strong and well-armoured, with built-in energy weapons resembling a hammer and piledriver.

Weaknesses: Their tendency to rush into things has led to them becoming severely injured by stronger foes. Nanobot enhancements make them possible pawns of the Nanobot Collective, and for a long time they had severe alcoholism.

OVERLORD
Allegiance: Nanobot
Function: Commander
"We shall have revenge on those who laid us low."

History: There was once a Decepticon warlord named Trannis, who took control of the army when Megatron disappeared 4 million years ago. He
nuked Iacon into the dust, killed the Council and rediscovered the long-lost process of biomorphic replication. He saw Cybertron was all used up by this point and so began plans for a grand Decepticon Empire, which would conquer the galaxy- unfortunately for him, after assembling a group of the best Decepticons and gaining the means to get off-planet, he was assassinated by the Wreckers. Jhiaxus would lead the Empire instead. The body of Trannis was eventually salvaged by the Liege Maximo, who connected himself to it to gain the warlord's strategic skill.

After the Liege Maximo died, the body of Trannis was salvaged by the surviving members of the Nanobot Collective (nearly wiped out after their clash with the Autobot Special Operations Unit in 2030). They rebuilt him completely, renaming him Overlord, and used him as their agent in the conquest of Cybertron. He approached Star Saber with the idea for the gladiatorial contest Decepti-Kombat- he planned to salvage the best of the contestants, bring them over to his side as lieutenants and then use their new-found fame to drum up support from the masses for a brand new Decepticon movement. This plan was thwarted by a group of Autobots made up of Sunstreaker, Elita-1, several of the Special Operations members and Rack'n'Ruin. Overlord then took control of an uninhabited Cyberworld and used this as the new Nanobot base.

The Nanobots attempts didn't work in the 21st Century and the Decepti-Kombat plan failed also, so instead Overlord furthered a new one- the
Nanobots would take the form of giant Transformers of incredible power, and they would bludgeon the Cybertronians into submission. To this aim they reprogrammed the Destron Overkill, battled the Star Former Motorvators and influenced the Covenant of Primus to travel back in time to destroy the Dark Essence that powered Shokaract's Matrix of Conquest. Now, with the Matrix of Conquest and the Creation Matrix gone, there is now deux ex machine to stop the Nanobots and they are moving on Shokaract's Cybertron.

Profile: Overlord is Trannis reincarnate, maintaining the same charisma, intelligence and malice of the old warlord. However, he is also now part of the Nanobot Collective, and the Nanobots that compose his form will sometimes order him or take command of his body. A dedicated, long-term strategist, Overlord is content to wait until the timing is just right before going on the offensive- once he does start a campaign, he will not stop until he has victory.

Abilities: No location is too remote and no terrain too tough for this megalithic warmonger. He used to have two Nanobot-composed "Powermaster" companions that would link him to the Collective and allow him to travel through hyperspace. Nanobots are integrated into his make-up, allowing him to split into a cloud of Nanobots similar to the way the Swarm operated. He splits into a tank form to steamroller opponents and a C-SAC jet (Carrier, Spy, Air Combatant). Overlord commands a multitude of sophisticated superweapons, is a master of Metallikato and can even transform into a small Battle Station! His greatest ability remains his powerful mind, which allows him to humble his foes with ease.

Weaknesses: Overlord relies on the Collective for life. Damage the Collective, and Overlord suffers. He is also prone to vicious arguments with the Nanobot influences within him, which sometimes leaves him open to surprise attacks (like with Overkill in 2340).

FIXIT
Allegiance: Maximal
Sub-group: Rescue Patrol Micromasters
Function: Battlefield medic
"The worst wrecks are my best patients!"

History: One of the first Micromasters. He was part of the Rescue Patrol, who were set up to salvage Autobot wrecks after battles. He didn't often see combat, but ended up fighting alongside the Classic Pretenders in the late 1980's and being stationed on Earth. After the Eugenesis wars, Fixit left the Rescue Patrol and concentrated on non-military medical work. He was abducted during the Software Wars and made to be a medic to Whirl’s group of fugitives. Star Saber believed he knew too much about what really happened during the Software Wars, so he had him brainwashed and sent to Faux Cybertron.

Profile: He braves the heaviest combat fire to reach the wounded. He is driven by a desire to help out the wounded, and becomes frustrated when unable to do so. Thanks to his brainwashing and Software Wars experiences, he is suffering from paranoia and nightmares.

Abilities: Fixit is outfitted with repair bay and life-function monitors. He is skilled in most forms of repair work except neurosurgery. Transforms into an Earthen ambulance and reaches speeds of up to 200 KPH.

WeaknessesBecomes too frustrated in difficult surgical situations. His paranoia can sometimes affect his performance.

POWERFLASH
Allegiance: Maximal
Function: Infantry
"There is no present like time."

Profile by Martin McVay

History: Staying at his post when all others had fled, just so as to avoid disobeying an order to fight to the last man that was never expected to be taken literally, Powerflash was torn to shreds by Lord Straxus' Predacons. His brain module was eventually found and reconnected, and he was brought back as an Action-Master in 1995. You would think his brush with death would have taught him a lesson, but no - he is more determined than ever to enforce the rules. Though in actual fact the battle had already been lost, in his mind he would never have been deactivated had his comrades obeyed the same orders and fought on. When Star Saber took control of Cybertron and began altering the laws governing the planet, he found the situation intolerable and resigned his commission in protest. Few noticed. He has since down-sized and become a Maximal, though the Nucleon is still too deeply ingrained in his core circuitry to allow him an alternate configuration. He left Cybertron for Earth along with Overload, seeking order, peace and a new home.

Profile: A fast-talking, fast-moving bundle of over-heated circuits, Powerflash constantly marching around, giving orders and drumming his metallic fingers on the nearest table top. Extremely punctual, he feels that all orders and military regulations must be followed to the letter, and is angered by the slightest sign of insubordination. As a result he is somewhat closed-minded, but also fully devoted to serving Optimus Prime's Autobot Code - to the letter.

Abilities: As an Autobot Action-Master, Powerflash was paired with Road Rocket, a
tyre-squealing high-speed menace with a knack for always being on time. It has been down-sized along with its owner, and remains Powerflash's loyal servant. Its maximum ground speed is Mach 1, and it is armed with high-velocity missiles that turn enemy robots into molten metal. Road Rocket combines with Powerflash to form an overhead
missile-launching system.

WeaknessesNow a Maximal, Powerflash will once again follow his superior officers' orders to the letter, however stupid they may be. But there is an added complication - the Maximals are not bound by the Autobot Code, even in theory. How he
will deal with a conflict between orders and life-long principles has yet to be tested. There is a danger such confusion may lead to a short-circuit, leaving him open to attack.
