| 250 grams/ 2 cups confectioner's sugar 250 grams flour/ 2 cups 200 ml milk 50 grams/ 1/4 cup margarine or butter 3 tbsp honey 1 pkg. baking powder 1 whole egg for the coating: 300 grams/ 2,5 cups confectioner's sugar 6 tbsp milk 40-50 grams/ 0,5 cup cocoa powder approx: 100 grams/ 0,5 cup coconut |
| Mix the c.sugar, the egg, the melted margarine and the honey. Add the milk and the flour mixed with the baking powder. Blend them well. Preheat the oven. After pouring the mass in a baking tin, bake it at 150-160 celsius/ 300-320 Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes. Coating: in a pan bring a little water to boil, place a metal bowl over it and melt the margarine. Add the c.sugar to it and the cocoa powder too. Blend them stirring continously. It should be neither too thin nor too thick. If the cake is cool enough by then, cut it up into pieces and dunk them into the coating then roll it into coconut. It is ready. Enjoy the cake! |

| 200 grams/ 1 cup sugar 200 grams/ 0,8 cup margarine or butter 200 grams/ 1,7 cups flour 6 yolks (only yolks!!!) plus 1 whole egg 1 pkg vanillin sugar 100 grams/ 1 cup ground almond or walnut 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 tbsp rum as many sour-cherries as you like |
| Mix the margarine with the sugar. Add the vanillin sugar, yolks, whole egg, rum, almond or walnut and the flour mixed with the baking powder. Pour the pastry into a baking tin and place the cherries all over the pastry. Bake it at 170 Celsius/ 338 Fahrenheit for 35 minutes in a preheated oven. When ready, let it cool and sprinkle confectioner's sugar on top. Enjoy the cake! |
| Cocoa cake with huckleberry jam |
| 1 cup of sour-cream 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of flour 3 (whole) eggs 3 tbsp cocoa powder huckleberry jam (recommended) 3 teaspoons baking powder |
| First mix sugar with eggs then add sour-cream and then the flour mixed with the baking powder. Add cocoa powder too. Blend them carefully. Preheat oven. Bake it at 180 Celsius/356 Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes. Let it cool and then cut it crosswise and spread jam between the two halves. Enjoy the cake! |

| 1 cup of flour 1 cup of ground poppy seed 1 cup of sugar 2 eggs (whole) 100 grams/0,5 cup margarine or butter 1 cup of milk 1pkg baking powder a little cinnamon and plum jam |
| First mix flour with poppy seed then mix sugar, eggs and margarine too. Blend all ingredients and add milk, baking powder and cinnamon too. Pour the pastry into a big baking tin and bake it at 170-180 Celsius/ 338-356 Fahrenheit for about 40 minutes. When ready, cut it across and spread plum jam between the two halves. Enjoy the pastry! |
