| Charles Casha is an author of books for children. He writes in his native language, Maltese. He has been writing for the past� 40 years and his first book was published in 1971. His
35 publications� consist of short stories, novels, and plays as well as text-books on the teaching of the Maltese language. He has also published four novels and three books of short stories for adults. His book "Il-Klabb - L-Ghaxar Anniversarju", a novel for teens won the� Literary Award for Children's Literature in 1998 by the Ministry of Education. In 2003 his book Gummienu was awarded the National Literary Award for children's literature published in 2000. |
