to the website for the DMV, The Derwentside Music Venture.
We are an
organisation dedicated to promoting music in the community. We offer a
wide range of services to musicians, potential musicians and indeed anyone
who enjoys music. From a space apart to practice to workshop sessions and
advice on all things musical, with a team of dedicated musicians on hand
providing an educated ear and friendly advice to anyone interested, the
DMV stands apart as an organisation for the community by the community.

The DMV are committed to improvement of community
facilities.
Rennovation projects are a key priority for the DMV.
Promotion of Derwentside venues for events and bands
will be another target.

DMV will be able to help you contact potential venues in
Derwentside.
If you participate in fund raising, DMV will help to
promote your band, locally, where it matters most.
The DMV may be able to help you contact other bands for
support acts.
The DMV will eventually be able to offer bands in
Derwentside somewhere to practice and possibly record.
