Welcome,

The purpose of this site is to provide help to the parents and students of Myrtle Beach Intermediate School. Our school is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our school is unique in the fact that we have only 4th and 5th grades. We are one of the many schools within Horry County School District.

I have been teaching for 11 years. I have taught K-5, 1st, 4th, and 5th grades. I love teaching and my students hold a special place within my heart. Being a teacher is so rewarding. Friendships are established and strengthened as I choose to take an active role in the lives of my students.

My husband Dan and I have been happily married for 17 years. We have a beautiful daughter named Lizzie. We enjoy camping and going to the beach. We attend First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach.

I love reading and taking long walks on the beach. I love to bake cookies and shop with Lizzie. While I'm not a fan of television, I do enjoy watching Jag and I thrive on NBA basketball.
