To continue, I'd also like to rant about Treize for a moment. I am painfully aware of the fact that not a large number of Gundam Wing fans like Treize, but I certainly do like the fellow. If you want proof, I will tell you that I cried when he was killed (hope I didn't spoil anything for anybody). Treize isn't as bad as people say he is, despite the fact he causes Une and Zechs to have split personalities. Treize is a gentleman through and through. He prefers a one-on-one fight, be it in a mobile suit or face to face, and he both wins and loses with dignity. -sighs- He went out in a blaze of glory! "That was...beautiful Wufei..." Come on! How many people would say something so poetic with their last breath?! Okay, so Treize isn't the total heart-throb the Gundam pilots and Zechs are, but Treize still has things that make him handsome and just a good person in general. But even while plotting out his plans, biding his time to a hopeful victory, Treize was able to keep his cool and keep from going totally physco. Sure, there's a couple instances where he looks...evil...but Treize is a GOOD GUY! Personally, after watching that show just once, I don't really think there is a good guys-bad guys thing happening there! It's just...a bunch of people following different beliefs! The White Fang follows the beliefs of Zechs, the Treize Faction follows Treize's beliefs and ideas, the Gundam pilots, I feel, go their own way. The Gundam pilots, I feel, in the end, were fighting for peace, plain out peace. They had no allies except their fellow pilots (excluding Zechs and Treize of course) and their only enemies were the people that stood between them and peace. And the amusing thing about it all...after Battleship Libra was destroyed, the war wasn't over because Mariemeia had to show her face and try to start another war 'fighting for Treize's beliefs'! -growls- I so know she is not a Kushrenada!
