On to another rant. Treize, being the gentleman he is, would never go sleeping around and thus producing Mariemeia! Treize's only love in the show, I feel, is the fight for peace in his own way. His love is keeping war between people, not machines! Mariemeia didn't understand this until Lady Une finally explained to her at the end of Endless Waltz, but this is how Treize was and Mariemeia had to right to fight for Treize. It wasn't necessary, Treize had lost a duel honourably, and had lost the war in the same way.
