The Chantal Kreviazuk Picture Page is an unbeatable source for high quality, one-of-a-kind photos, taken by the webmaster herself. Links - Charities Most recently, Chantal has joined forces with ZooCheck, a Canadian animal rights organization, to help support and publicize their Freedom For Whales Compaign, which fights against whale and dolphin abuse in zoos. In the public arena, Chantal's most extensive charity works have been through WarChild Canada, a worldwide organization (based in Canada) that deals with the innocent and defenseless victims of war - children. In September 2000, Chantal performed a benefit concert in Winnipeg that coincided with a political forum being held there. In January 2001, she travelled to Iraq to film a documentary for War2Music, a division of WarChild, that aired on MuchMusic in April. Nellies is a non-profit organization helping women and children in crisis. The proceeds from Chantal's suprise concert at Ted's Wrecking Yard in Toronto, in August 1999, went to Nellies. "The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation is dedicated to the improvement of children's health. Their mission is to inspire and support the philanthropic spirit in individuals and organizations."
