The Sisterlocks package includes 3 visits scheduled over several weeks.
First Visit: The Consultation
During this session your personal hair care history, styling preferences, and whether Sisterlocks is right for you is discussed. At this time four or five sample locks are created in order to determine locking pattern and size based on your hair type. This step is very important and should not be omitted.
Second Visit: The Locking Session
This is scheduled for two to three weeks after the sample locks. Bring a good book, DVD's, movies, etc, because the process takes several hours or it will be done over several days!. The average customer will leave with over 450 locks. You will be provided a "Starter Kit" that includes the proper shampoo for starting your locks and grooming and shampooing instructions.
Third Visit: Follow-up
This is scheduled for sometime during the 1st month after your locks are in and after you've shampooed them a couple of times.
Ongoing follow-up Visits
For the first 6 months, a 'mini-cousult' is recommended -- 1 per month, to monitor the progress of you locks. Over time the frequency of visits will decrease, depending on your hair type and growth.
The cost varies, depending on length and density
