| This is my first real "show" girl! I am very excited to begin showing her.I will keep picture updates on her. She is such a cuddly little thing. she fits her standard to a pinpoint and will hopefully excel in the conformation ring. She is Ruby, who is precious,unique and has a gentle spirit. Her main job right now is being a little puppy, getting into trouble and having fun. She will be appearing in the spring of 2003 in the Pacific Northwest show cercuit. | The Story Behind This Amazing Girl | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok. I got a call from her breeder around the first week of December saying that she (Jean) had a little girl puppy from one of her recent litters. Jean made me a great offer of taking her, showing her, getting her championship and then giving her back for breeding. Then after all the puppies go to good homes Ruby is officially mine! As anybody can expect that was a dream come true. When you are my age you really only do dream about things like that and its an amazing chance for me to fulfill that dream. Then there was just one little problem, talking my mom into it. I barely got to have Fred, my second beagle/dog. How was I going to get her let me have three!? Well we talked and talked about it and had lots of those "serious" conversations that we younger generation get all the time! But she finally agreed. I love and thank my mom for letting me do this. I think that with the help of Jean, Denise, and my mom.. oh yeah and Dave! I can actaully go somewhere in the life of dog showing. Thanks guys! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This past weekend in Albany Oregon we pulled a first on Saturday in juniors out of about 16 people and then Sunday we pulled a first out of about 9 people! For her first show she did amazing! I am so proud of her. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
