| About Fred | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Fred is quite a boy. He is more on the working side of beagles. He has nice bone and ok markings. Its sad that Fred is a field beagle becasue he has great movement. He is a dog that can do his job. he has a clown like temperment and loves everybody. He has the funniest sence of humor I think I have ever seen.His hobbies include sniffing and eating. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Story Behind Fred | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Fred was my first "show" boy. He actaully came from a puppy mill. I did not know better. I hate to say this but I am glad he came to me and not an abusive home or something. I would not sell this dog for all the money in the world. I got him in June 2001. He had puppy mange when he was young so bad it almost killed him. The vets said it was the worse case they had ever seen. He had an allgeric reaction to the dip that they dipped him in and then sent him in a sprial downwards health wise. I honsetly thought I would lose him. He was so sick. Well he slowly got better and had to be on this madience for 8 months. Then we just recently found out that he also has Canine Atopy and hip dsyplisia. Poor guy! Fred really has been through a lot and so naturally when he was younger and so sick we spoiled him.. rotten. Well he has not forgotten those days and still expects to be spolied. And when he does not get his way he will tell you about... loudly. I neutered him when I found out he was dysplastic. I am still going to be active with him in juniors and obedience. I might even try some field work. This is the most funniest dog. You can sit there and just watch him and you will laugh your head off. Fred might not be show quality but he has a million dollar personality! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Being a Loveable pet, Fred has done limited showing but will be coming out in the junior/obedience ring this year. He did get first in his class at the beage speciality in July.. oh yeah he was the only one in his class! But we did get second place in juniors at the speciality!
