
1971 Datsun 510 Specs

The car is currently powered by an L20B bored 2mm capped with an A87 closed chamber head that has 280Z 44mm intake valves and standard 35mm exhaust. Induction is a pair of 38mm SUs and SSS intake manifold; exhaust is SSS manifold feeding 2" all the way to the rear. VW aluminum radiator keeps it all cool. Battery has been trunk mounted in CMS custom aluminum battery box. Front strut assemblies are 280ZX fitted with adjustable coilovers. Front brakes are 280ZX vented rotors and calipers. Front crossmember is out of a 710. Transmission is long tail 5 speed from 280ZX. Rear end is Subaru Limited Slip. Rear brakes are 200SX rear disc. Interior is complimented by a pair of 5 way adjustable bucket seats from an Isuzu Impulse. Body is complimented by a pair of stock mirrors and radio aerial has been relocated to driver's side. Wheels are 13x7 American Racing Equipment Libres. Tires are cheap.
