Music Videos

Desert Rose
Music by Sting
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: The first video I ever produced. Dedicated to the members of C/T Yahoo!, who first issued the multimedia challenge. The goal was to capture the essence of the Chakotay/Torres relationship in video format.

Tattoo
Music from the album Inca, "Cuzco"
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: This video was the product of a challenge issued by myself for myself. The goal was to determine if I could make a music video based solely on one episode. What better episode than "Tattoo", a Chakotay-heavy adventure?

Acceptable Risk
Music by the Goo Goo Dolls
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: "Extreme Risk" is one of my favorite Voyager episodes. It captures the friendship (and humanity) of Chakotay and Torres very well. I couldn't resist doing another episode-based music video.

Once a Maquis, Always a Maquis
Music by Peter Gabriel and Deep Forest
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: "While the Earth Sleeps" begged to have a music video. With a fast paced tempo, it was ideal for an "action" sequence. This took me the longest of all the videos to make but to be honest, it's one of my least favorites.

Surrender
Music by Dido
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: The lyrics for "White Flag" stuck to my brain like glue. The duality of "ship" (Voyager in the literal sense and Chakotay in the figurative sense) was just to hard to pass up. A special thanks to Briana for her input and encouragement.

The Space Between
Music by The Dave Matthews Band
Produced by C.J. Grant
Notes: I've always admired the lyrics to this song so I didn't really need an excuse to work with it. This is the first video I've done that incorporates both video and .jpg material. Turned out to be an interesting combination.

If I Ain't Got You
Music by Alicia Keys
Produced by Briana L. Wright
Notes: My first music video. I fell in love with the song after watching the video for it. Special thanks to CJ Grant for her inspiration. Dedicated to the members of C/T Yahoo!.

My Immortal
Music by Evanesence
Produced by Briana L. Wright
Notes: The concept surrounding this vid is loss, whether you want to interpret that as physical death or just the end of a relationship. I wanted to show how Chakotay and B'Elanna would grieve/cope with the other's absence. I did come across a few minor editing errors after posting this, but overall, I'm very happy with the result. Dedicated with love to my sister, Nessa.
