| 8-4-08 I know it's been awhile since any news has been posted so I 'm glad to finally have something to post..Chainsaw Synphany is currently putting the finishing touches on the upcoming "Cobwebs" single. The single will contain a previously unreleased version of the song and features the instrumental "Won't wake up". I''m also proud to announce the re-release of 2006's "There's Something There". It is currently available through the Fuck the Main$tream Records myspace page for $3. I'm also going through abunch of Chainsaw archive stuff looking for old pics, logos, designs, and what not to add to the CS myspace photo album....work on Silouhettes continues... -CS 3-26-08 As March draws to a close I have little new to report. What I do have to report is that the latest CS track "cobwebs" [that features the guitar works of Adam G. of the Obliterates/V.I.O.] appears on the latest compilation from Fuck the Main$tream Records... Music from the frontline which is OUT NOW! The song is a new personal best and continues on in the vein of Silhouettes...which is turning out to be more work than I initially thought. A video for "cobwebs" is a possible next step. Adam & myself have teamed up yet again to bring you some brand new CS/VIO our latest song "Late" also appears the new FTM Records comp and is currently up on their myspace page...Work continues... -CS 2-2-08 What better way to kick off a new month then with a NEW CD? "What new CD?", you ask. The debut cd from CS/AGP that is!!! I'm proud to announce that me and AGP have finally finished things up & released out debut split album "BASTARD"! The album is 8tracks and about 30min in length. To celebrate this release we've just launched a myspace page for this effort www.myspace.com/csagp where you can sample of couple of the tracks from the new album. Currently, "I want to stomp" from AGP is up, and "How you like it" from CS are up. Since this album is the result of an internet based collaboration, it WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ONLINE!!! It's currently available for $5. You can get your hands on one by visiting the discography section and clicking the cover. This will take you to the place where you can place an order. Shipping is pretty prompt, it should ship the next day if not that day. I also just uncovered some lost acoustic cass. demos that I'm in the process of transfering, and perserving. They include some lost CS/VIO tracks...some lost CS, and some lost VIO. It's amazing to find things you think are gone forever, lost to time... Anyways, I'll more than likely be releasing the lost CS/VIO demos in the near future...I'm not too sure about the others at this time. Well, that's the newz for now. -Chainsaw |
