Membership Appointment
Cadet Inspector
A Cadet Inspector is the highest rank attainable by an NPCC
cadets. It serves as recognition of their contribution as
well as an NPCC cadet's potential to bring NPCC to greater
heights. A Cadet Inspector is also appointed to the Corps to
supplement the teacher-officers in carry out the training
programmes of NPCC.
A Cadet Inspector shall hold the rank of Probationary Cadet
Inspector upon his/her successful completion of the CIBTC
and during his/her probationary period. After the
probationary period, the Cadet Inspector shall be confirmed
to the rank of Cadet Inspector.
Honorary Officer & Honorary Instructor
An Honorary Officer shall hold the minimum rank of
Probationary Honorary Inspector of Police (NPCC) upon
his/her appointment as an Honorary Officer and undergo a
probationary period. Upon confirmation he/she shall hold the
rank of Honorary Inspector of Police (NPCC).
An Honorary Instructor shall hold the rank of Senior Station
Inspector (SSI) (for non-former Cadet Inspectors) or the
Senior Cadet Inspector (SCI) (for former Cadet Inspectors)
upon his/her appointment as an Honorary Instructor.
Officer
An Officer shall hold the minimum rank of Probationary
Inspector of Police (NPCC) upon his/her appointment as an
Officer and undergo a probation period. Upon confirmation
he/she shall hold the rank of Inspector of Police (NPCC).
