Dongdaemun Market

The reason Juli recommend!

Do you know that Seoul becomes alive at night? People fill the streets and all kinds of different eateries stay open late. If we want to buy something or feel alive it is good place to spend night hours!^^

Address 289-3 Jongno 6-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul

Description Most of my freind are like shopping in Dongdaemun Market. Dongdeamoon Market is one of the largest clothing wholesale markets in Korea, includes wholesale clothing arcades specializing in women's, men's and children's attire.
Since the early nineties, it has slowly been reinvented. Modern architecture such as Doosan Tower, Migliore and Team 204 is mushrooming. Even the modern shopping centers feature night owl shopping. The night owl shopping starts at 9:00 p.m. Boisterous dance music overwhelms the air, and in the heart of the aggressive music that creates the hectic atmosphere and lifts your spirits, the young generation come with their friends and pack the streets.

During the nighttime hours, it is possible to buy items at lower prices than during the daytime.
It is recommended that retail customers avoid the hours between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., since numerous merchants from across the country descend upon the market at that time to buy large quantities of merchandise.
And if you want a less hectic shopping experience, choose Sunday night. Shoppers should know their sizes and never forget the time of the last bus or subway.
