C GROUP PRESIDENT ADDRESSES NAT'L CONFERENCE OF WOMEN COMMUNICATORS
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., AUGUST 4 Sharon Coleman, founder and president of New Jersey-based C Group, LLC, addressed The Association for Women in Communications during its national conference in Baltimore, Aug. 1-4.
Ms. Coleman was a break-out speaker Aug. 4 on the topic of "Writing for the Web."
Ms. Coleman introduced the audience to the concept of "value-added" on the Web and user expectation. The Web is still very much a mimic of traditional print and broadcast media, she said; eventually, it will evolve into its own medium with its own identity and practices.
