Latest intake design
In this photo you can see the carb clearly. The fuel line runs to the bottom of the bowl and is jioned by the pick up tube for the primer system. The manifold is made of 1/8" thick 6061  2" ID.  Initial test run was very inspiring. The only surprise was it wont take a real fast throttle opening. My best guess is that it drops the intake pressure to fast to catch the fuel.
Now here is a shot of the fuel primer tube  and the piston assembly. You can also see the dual coils for the ignition system, and the 2 crankcase pickups for the diaphram fuel pumps. Its a very small firewall on the Hummelbird and yet you can see theres a lot of stuff able to fit under the cowlng. Especaily now that the carb is on the bottom of the engine.
And in this veiw the throttle linkage and fuel lines are dicernable if you look closly. Its also apparent that I went hrough great lenghts to make the exaust as unobtrusive as possible. It has worked great so far and running test conclude it does not effect the power output at all.
