| Seyona marched away in plain disgust. "I can't believe she did that!" she growled to the old buildings. She stopped and wiped her face once again with the back of her hand. "Disgusting." Seyona turned around to make sure the other two were following her and noticed an empty street. "Oh, I should just leave them." The thief scratched at her copper hair angrily. "Stupid, both of them." Seyona closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. "Okay, calm down, you must remember Leli doesn't like the kid, besides she needs somebody to argue with." Seyona stood in the middle of the street and waited. She crossed her arms across her chest and a piece of yellow cloth blew in the wind landing by her feet. Seyona stared at the cloth for a moment then she heard it, a faint scream. She listened harder, two screams; she picked up the cloth, "Leli. LELI!" She started to run in the direction of the screams and rounded a corner. She beheld a huge six tentacle slimy green monster, in two the rubbery arms she saw Leli and Chaco. Once Leli saw Seyona on the ground, she started to scream even louder. Chaco scrunched up his face, "Will you shut up, I want to at least die in peace." "Seyona help me!" "NO, HELP ME! SHUT THIS THING OFF!" Chaco jerked his head in Leli's screaming position. "What! You two timing-" "Two-timing! You act like I'm loyal t-erk!" The tentacle monster tightened its grip on the two. "What am I going to do?" Seyona whispered helplessly. "MUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!" A red and brown creature traveling at the speed of light blared into sight and hit the monster at its stalk core. "Ahhhhhhhhh!" Both Chaco and Leli screamed in union when the stalk creature fell to the ground taking them with it. "Leli! Chaco!" Seyona screamed climbing over the huge green stalks. "Over here" Leli replied in a weakened tone. Seyona overturned a tentacle and found Leli, dirty, but alive. "You okay?" "I want to sue..." "Fla! I hate ta say I told yer so, but I told ya so." Chaco whined climbing out of the green, gray mess. Chaco stopped wiping the slime off his person and looked back at Seyona, "How did ya save us...not like I'm thankin' ya or anythin', I coulda got myself out of that..." Seyona shrugged. "I didn't do a thing, something flew at that monster and hit it, derooting it." Leli shook her head and her eyes grew wide. "My-Terran's scarf, I lost it, I-" Seyona smiled as she held up the yellow cloth. "Oh, um, thanks." Chaco rubbed his wings, then stopped. "Woah...wait a second...wasit just me or did I hear a mu before we fell?" Leli blinked, "Yeah, I do recall something....didn't that flying squirrel thing, that attached itself to your face in Coronet, made that sound?" Leli went red with embarrassment. "You mean we were saved by-" "I won't tell if ya don't" Leli nodded, "Sure," Seyona shook her head, "What am I going to do with you two, now can we get out of here before that thing regenerates?" Leli and Chaco looked at one another. "Sure, " Leli screamed from over her shoulder running out of Muse, with Chaco close behind screaming, "Next time listen to me when I say it's not a good idea to go to certain places!" Seyona smiled. One of the tentacles twitched. "HEY WAIT FOR ME!" Seyona screamed, trying her best to catch up. |
