Logging on to the computers;
If a computer need to be Re-Booted (Restarted) for any reason, We
suggest asking a staff member for assistance.
When you Turn On or Re-Boot any computer here at the library, you must not press anything. You just have to wait until the desktop is displayed.
The Public Computer LAB computers are set to automatically log on to the network withoout any intervention.
All Public Lab computers will have connection to the internet and to the Lab Printer (located near the light switches by the elevator)
All the Public Computers in the library use the same User Name 'all' (without the quotation marks) to log on to our Network.
On any Public Access Computer to log on to the Network, use the following:
User Name: 'all' (without the quotemarks)
Password: 'library' (without the quotemarks)
Domain Name: 'HQ'(without the quotemarks)

Near computer #16 is a rack with pleanty of self help guides that will help you with most programs on the computers.
These include Quick Guides for; Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel and Internet Explorer. Also, you will find HowTo guides on Searching the Web, Printing, Saving, Copying & Moving Text and Pictures, Creating a Resume, Oppening an e-mail account with Yahoo! Most Guides are available in English and Spanish.

On the computer book section to will find bokks on lots of computer programs along with other related topics that can be cheched out with a valid library card.
We also provide Basic Computer Classes
availabe to all intrested.
