Online Databases

Use these databases to find newspaper, magazine, and journal articles, maps, charts, chapters from books and photos, and then print, save, or email the information to yourself. For access from home, speak to a library staff member.

JerseyClicks (www.jerseyclicks.org)
JerseyClicks offers you access to information that is not freely available on the Internet. You can find information from magazines, journals, books and newspapers on topics such as business, careers, education, health, literature, and science. Search up to 15 databases at once or do a custom search of the databases you choose.

To do a Custom Search in Jersey Clicks:

Connect to JerseyClicks.
Click on Custom Search on the left side of the screen.
Enter your access code and click on Go.
Click on Clear Checkmarks at the bottom of the screen. Click in the box next to the database(s) you would like to search.
Go back to the top of the page, enter your search term, and click on Search.

EBSCO (search.ebscohost.com)
EBSCO databases contain magazine articles, excerpts from books, and newspaper articles with information on a wide range of subjects such as business, education, and health.

Full text coverage for over 1000 business periodicals ranging from general magazines to trade publications and top management journals.

Personal & Business Forms
Contains forms most frequently used in all kinds of businesses, for example, forms from the Department of Labor and the Small Business Administration.

Reference USA
Contains detailed information on U.S. businesses, residents, and health care providers, as well as Canadian businesses and residents. Useful for job seekers, small business owners and market researchers.
