DO NOT DISTURB
dangles from the outer knob
blown to and fro
by gusts of sin
inside, dimmed lamp
casts deep shadows
against closed blinds
that hide us from righteous eyes
mine see THE HOLY BIBLE
teetering on nightstand's
bedside edge
uncomfortably close to her head
roaming fingers
purposely skip her crucifix
she unzips my pants
releasing my mother's sermon
