| Wendell W. Ottley III is originally from Queens, New York. He holds two degrees, a B.A. in English and a B.S. in accounting, both from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. A member of the Carolina African American Writers Collective, he is currently working on a manuscript of poems tentatively titled "Live from the Nation of Hip-Hop." Wendell lives in Raleigh with his wife Yolanda and their two children, Amiri and Kiera. | |||||||||||||
