After a year off in semi-retirement and a year as an assisitant coach at Mount Pleasant High School, I have taken the head coaching position at Gary High School in East Texas. It is a small Class A school between Timpson and Carthage. Although they have not had much success in the past few years, there is a basketball tradition in Gary and I am looking forward to rebuilding the program and I am planning on this being my final coaching job.
