| I was fortunate to have been able to coach my daughter in high school basketball at Nacogdoches and at Teague. This picture was taken at the Centerville Tournament when the opposing team had fouled out all but three players. We took turns standing on the sideline and played 3 on 3. (She is the one on the right) I will try to add more pictures later. |
| Nacogdoches High School : Sophomore year- Honorable Mention All District Came off the bench in a three guard rotation to rest the three starters and provide stability to the point guard position or a 3 point threat from the shooting guard position. Played great in our playoff run to the Regional 5A Finals. Teague High School: Junior Year: First team all district Played both point guard and shooting guard. Led the team in scoring and assists and taking charges. Senior Year: Second Team All District (this upset me a little) Despite a herniated disk in her back (which eventually ruptured and required surgery), Amber was second on the team in scoring, first in assists, and second in steals. Made 57 3 point shots for the season. Once again led us in taking charges. Also named Most Beautiful and Best Pesonality at Teague High School |
