The above is the cost in which you pay the school to rent the plane. You do have to have one of their certified instructors to do so. I am an Air America CFI. I go by their standard hourly instuctor rates.
Instructor Rates:
Single Engine:
$28.00 Per hour
Air America gets $8.00 out of the total and I get the $20.00
I am certified to instruct in any single engine air craft. I need one more rating and will then be able to instruct in any of these multi engine aircraft. I should have my MEI (multi engine instructor) rating by June 2006.
