We had to rush to Pier 1 because we knew that in Manila, thousands of people rushed to see the Doulos for the first (if it's your first time) and last (since it will retire sometime in 2010). Upon interview with Leo Lastimosa in DYAB, the crew said that the ship has to abide with the rules of the Marina which is to have two engines working (while they have only one) and no wooden planks or walls inside the ship (which they have since there are a lot of books on board). So off we went and had a wonderful time. And to the crew of MV Doulos, WE SALUTE YOU!
