Benny the Beetle is a Volkswagen New Beetle which was Donated to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office by Reeves Automotive. The Sheriff's Office brings Benny on visits to elementary schools throught Hillsborough County.

Charles Fernandez created a booklet titled "Benny the Beetle Says..." which is distributed to students whenever Benny makes an appearance.
