"hey friends this was the best onam i had in my life.thanks to all coordinators for making it a grand success. the onaSadya was just wonderful thnaks to chackalan,sabari & co for arranging such a delicious sadya.it was conducted without an hiccups that was the bet part.hats off . now comes the most surprising but most desreving aprt of onam celebration getting hold of the trophy and cash award of rs.500 for best attha pookkalam (flower mat as sabari calls it).great design by vanitha first of all(just kidding) vyshak, pradeep jithin(who perfected the curves)&and a whole lot of girls(sorry not to pick on specific names as i shld say all of u did a wonderful job. maybe we our batch i very lucky enough to get such a great onam just before we leave in search of our dreams( ).maybe its the last time we all celebrate an onam together but still this onam will remain etched in our memory for the rest of our life. sorry i forgot to mention the name of anand who arranged for flowres.all thanks to him without it things wouldnt have been as colourful as it was.thanks to the reps as well for heading the finance dept and making sure that all paid the money.i guess he had problems in making both ends meet but the final cash award for pookkalam made things easy for him. may be the people who missed the evnt got ataste of what happened today.we certainly did miss the entire batch but still we hada decent crowd.cant blame the hostelites its one ina while only they get to go home on such a long vacation.atul too had his brothers marriage to attend.maybe i am boring u people .i am not used to typing such long mails but what to do todays proceedings were so great that i dont feel like stopping.anyway thanks friends once again for such a great onam. bye see u all in week."

"hai, Before sending this mail i happened to read ganesh.k's mail about the onam celebrations....I think he has conveyed almost everything that i wanted to say....I would like to express sincere thanks to all of u especially vinod,sabari&anand without whom i feel this celebration would not have been such a great success...When vinod & sabari proposed the idea of conducting ONAM SADYA & ATTAPOKKALAM,i had expressed my doubts about collecting money especially during the series examination .....It was their determination to conduct this celebration that got rewarded on friday......Hats off to both of u...Anand needs to be given a special thanks as without him we would not have being able to get the flowers for attapokalam....Infact i was a bit sorry for him when we were not able to collect the money (Rs 775) that he had to pay for the flowers...Fortunately we won the first place for AATAPOKALAM & the cash prize of Rs 500/- came in quite handy for helping anand......The trophy (if one could call it so) has been handed over to our HOD.....Pradeep needs to be congragualated for registering our team for the attapokkalam competition.....Vysakh,Jithin& all others especially the girls take the credit for making such an excellent attapokalam with very little preparation and time...Congrats to all of u....One thing i would i like to mention here is that....Whenever a celebration or farewell or any other function is being conducted,make it a point to confirm ur presence as well as ur contribution to ur rep.....Quite often it happens that u may not be able to tell ur position when he contacts u.....Then he may not be able to reach u afterwards....So please make it a point to confirm ur position whenever a function is being conducted in the future....
