| Type Divisions |
| Allright. The deal with this section is that I've divided up all the types. I show you the types strengths and weaknesses as an attack. Then I show all the pokemon in each type. This way at a glance you'll be able to see the advantages of a type and the pokemon in it, thus making it easier to build your team. :D |
|
Just some things that people should keep in mind about types and teams. 1. It's always good to diverisfy your team; have as many different types as possible. 2. Types are, in general, resistant to their own type. 3. Try not to overlap two or more same-type pokemon on a team, that means you can get sweeped by a guy you're weak to. 4. Never, ever, have two or more of the same type of attack on a pokemon, unless they differ greatly from each other; i.e. Blastoise - Leftovers Quiet: 252 Special Attack, 252 Defense, 6 Speed. Mirror Coat Earthquake Surf Hydro Pump This Blastoise is a no-no. Surf and Hydro Pump are excessive and thus you should throw off one, Probably Hydro Pump since in Competitive Battling, you won't be given the chance for Hydro Pump to miss. :( Also if it had instead say Ice Beam and Blizzard. That'd also be a no-no. BUT if it had Ice Beam and Mist. That'd be okay since Mist is an alter and IceBeam is an attack. That's the ONLY way that having two of the same type of attack on one pokemon would be allright. |
