RELIGION

The time which Cerebus lives in is apparently a very religious one. There are many Gods and religious directions.

ASHEM SOGGOT RA: A god/demon? Possibly the Flame Jewel Wizard from Cerebus #1.

ASHTOTH: A god who brought war and pain who killed without reason or apology. (Cerebus #5)

Frequently used as an oath: "Ashtoth take me!" (Cerebus #3), "Ashtoth preserve me" (Cerebus #5), " Ashtoth's visage!" (Cerebus #5), "By Ashtoth!" (Cerebus #13).

CLOVIS: Presumably a god of some sort. Frequently used as an oath.

TAURAN: "Tauran's blood!" (Cerebus #1, 9)

TERIM: Terim is a northern God.The eye of Terim is the most precious of the five spheres of the Gods. (Cerebus #2)

OTHERS:

The nameless God: God of the Black Sun (Cerebus #7)

"By the five spheres!" (Cerebus #4): A probable reference to the Spheres of the Gods.
