[Cerebus]

MainPage

When no one played Diamondback anymore (CEREBUS #52), Cerebus learned how to play Priestess; he lost.

THE DECK consists of a Priestess, a White Queen, a Black Queen, a Priest, a Sword card, and a Scepter card. The exact amount of each in the deck is unknown. Based on hands played in CEREBUS #52, there is at least 1 priestess, 1 white queen, 3 swords, 2 black queens and two gold cards.

Scoring
The Priestess is worth 4 points.

The White Queen is worth +2 points.

The Black Queen is worth -2 points.

The Sword Card does nothing.

The Scepter Card halves the Priestess or Queen Cards, or without then is -1 point.

The Gold Card doubles the Priestess or Queen Cards, or without then is 1 point.

The Priest Card adds 1 point to the final total.

When dealt, each player gets three cards. You each ante a crown, then the Dealer makes an initial wager which the other players have to match. Then the players can choose to discard cards and take another from the deck, or stay with the cards they have.

Then the Dealer bets again, and the other players can match or raise the wager. When the betting is over, they determine who won and the winner is the Dealer for the next hand.

If there is a tie, the tied players play another hand to determine who wins the pot and thus who deals the next hand.
