July 2nd, 2001 - ECW Rises Again!
Lara and Lynn Croft made the big announcement on Raw is War. ECW is back open for business. Lynn was armed with contracts to sign while Lara made a very moving and convincing speach that riled out wrestlers from both WCW and WWF.
Lance Storm, Mike Awesome, Raven, Tazz, Justin Credible, Buh Buh Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, Jerry Lynn, Tammy Sytch, Sandman, Chris Candido, Bamm-Bamm Bigelow, Karnage, Amanda Mine, and Perry Saturn came out to the ring to sign the new contracts and gladly leave the McMahon ties behind.
The Announcement and the parade of eager wrestlers also riled out Vince and Shane McMahon. Though giving a few nice threats, they were helpless to stop the Crofts from gaining ECW it's wings. |
