VOLUNTEERS

1.     Everybody can be a volunteer. |It is not only for specialists in something. Every person has his own capability and gifts. That ability one does well can be done to someonelse.

2.     To volunteer is a human relationship, rich and solidary. It is not a cold rational impersonal activity. It is a person to person relation, an opportunity to make friends, to live new experiments, to know other realities.

3.     Volunteer work is a double sense way. The volunteer give his energy and creativity but receives human contact  and the chance to live with different people and learn new things and the satisfaction of being useful

4.     Volunteer is ACTION. There is no need to ask permission to no one to act. Who wants go and do.

5.     Volunteer is Choice. There is not a hierarchy priority. The forms of doing things are so ample as the community needs and creativity of volunteers.

6.     Each one is volunteer on his own. There are no models or formula to follow. Some volunteers are capable of look around, and decide for himself. Others prefer a group action, inviting neighbors, workmates. Sometimes is a whole institution that moves to help needs wherever be urgent.

7.     Volunteer is commitment. Each one gives what can, but what was promised will be achieved. Some have more time, others a couple hours per week. Some know exactly with whom and where want to work. Other are ready to do it wherever be more urgent.

8.     To volunteer is an action to last with quality. Its function is not temporary task only to compensate a few needs. Volunteer action contributes to help people in need, to solve problems, to improve quality of life of community.

9.     Volunteer is a social inclusion tool. All have right to be volunteer. The energies resources and competencies of children, young, handicapped, retired people must be gathered to serve.

10.    To volunteer is a habit from hart and  a civic virtue. It is something that comes from inside and is good for other persons. In volunteering everybody earn something: the volunteer, the person with whom he works and the community.
