This was old ground for former Televsion Champion Python but for Casey Blyght and Serpiente Americano it was their first chance to take a step forward and seize a chance at gold. The match was high flying from the start as Americano and Python showed off their risk taking ways with several moves that had the crowd jumping. Blyght though put that to a quick end when he double clotheslined the two high flyers to the mat. From there the match became a technical chess match and all three men tried their best make the other two submit.
Things slowly started winding up again when Python executed a perfect suicida plancha that took both Blyght and Americano out. With the crowd roaring Python took to the air again but his plan became unhinged when the recipient of his high risk move decided to get out of the way. Referee Stevens began to count all three men out and was up to seven before Serpiente Americano crawled to his feet and rolled into the ring. A moment later Python joined him in the ring and the two men began matching eachother move for move. Blyght never recovered from the move and remained motionless outside the ring.
The match came to a stunning conclusion after Serpiente Americano connected with a sit down face plant and attempted to follow it up with the flying snakebite. Python though was playing possum and moved out of the way at the last minute. With the crowd roaring Python took to the turnbuckles and executed a flawless Shooting Star Press. A moment later he followed that up with the Lethal Injection and went for the pin. A three count later Python's hand was raised in victory and at an upcoming WildFire he wil go up against the TV Champ.
