[The lights shine throughout the arena. Coming back from commercial, the fans cheer and scream as the cameras move around the arena. The signs and the shirts held up. The homemade symbols thrown high in the air for their second of fame and worship to be caught on the lens. The cameras swing back in to the announcers table. Eddie "Two Times" Page and Russell McCoy stand by, looking at the camera. ]
[PAGE] Welcome back everybody. Things are not slowing down here on Wildfire as we are gearing up for our next match that will surely level this arena.
[MCCOY] I have no idea where Marshall comes up with these matches. Doesn't he want to hold something back for a pay per view?
[PAGE] Only Robert Marshall knows his reasons. Let's get ready to...
[Page doesn't have a chance to finish what he is about to say as the lights suddenly go out in the arena. Complete darkness fills the whole are as the P.A. screams to life as well as the giant screen. Dark, black and white video fills the screen with the Authority logo and words flashing with water marks and scratches. The crowd explodes as lights start swirling around the arena and the music comes to life.]
[MCCOY] WHAT IS HE DOING HERE???.
[PAGE]: I think that Adam-X is here to make a statement. After the events that transpired with him at the last Wildfire, one can only imagine what is going through that man's head right now. The Road to Redemption set up by Robert Marshall along with the return of Shawn Andrews and his continued battles with Ripper Longshanks and the Darkness. Things just aren't getting any better for the superstar.
[MCCOY] And they shouldn't either. Everything that is happening to Adam-X, he deserves.
[PAGE]: No, he doesn't. That man goes out night after night to give everything in that ring. What makes you say that he deserves the diliberate punishments and beatings from Marshall that he has been recieving?
[MCCOY]: After everything he has done in his career, I can only hope that Marshall continues it. He spits in the faces of the bosses and parades himself around that ring to the sheep out there. He has done it countless times before to other bosses and he is doing it here. Like now! He has no business being out here, interrupting this program.
[Two fireworks shoot from the lighting rig above the ring and down to the stage, criss crossing to form a giant silver X in the air. They hit the stage causing two giant explosions happen on the stage. The lights in the arena come back on fully as a figure walks out of the opening. The crowd is on their feet and deafening the arena. Signs explode upward as the music is filling the arena.
[PAGE]: And ADAM-X IS HERE!
[MCCOY]: Why do the fans through themselves at this fake? He needs to march himself right back into the back. No business here at all! What is he even doing out here?
[PAGE]: I think we are about to find out.
[With his neck length blond hair hanging freely, Adam-X stares at the arena with his trademark mischevious smile across his face. His neck length blonde hair hangs loosely around his face almost covering his blue eyes. Black baggy, leather pants and Doc Martins are worn as is a black and white AUTHORITY T-shirt. He is in top shape as the shirt fits nicely to his muscular upper body. He stands on the stage and soaks in the cheers. He absorbs every scream and cheer for him. He looks around and throws his arms over his head to form and X. The crowd screams even louder as he does this.]
[Adam stands there enjoying every second of the crowds cheers. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands of his fans. Adam-X slides into the ring under the bottom rope and jumps up to the screams and cheers of the fans. The fans scream and chant his name as he goes from turn buckle to turn buckle, crossing his arms into an X. The fans scream louder as Adam-X gets them even more rilled up. He goes back to the center of the ring as the cheers continue. The cameras have to turn away from the fans before two girls lift up thier AUTHORITY T-shirts to expose themselves. Adam-X reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a microphone. He holds it up as the crowd cheers louder. He pulls it down and holds it up to his mouth with a hand in the air to silence the fans.]
[ADAM-X]: You know those comfortable things that you look forward to? After a bad day, you come home and there is something familiar and comforting about it all. I think everyone here needs something comforting and familiar here. So, ARE YOU READY????????????
[The crowd jumps back up to their feet screaming a giant YES in unison that fills the arena. Adam-X stands there smiling with his hands on his hips. He lets the fans calm down a few seconds before pulling the microphone back up to his lips.]
[ADAM-X] ROBERT MARSHALL! Robert, Robert, Robbie. You are NOT ready, Robbie. I have got to wonder what is going on here Robbie. This whole Road to Redemption you have me on. What for Robbie? What have I done that has you this mad? I fool around with your daughter? Girlfriend? Wife? Wait, what am I thinking, I didn't mess with your boyfriend. So it can't be that.
Seriously, Robert! The Road to Redemption? All for what? For some little vendetta that you refuse to share. Already you have had me face a mystery opponent that turned out to be Jack Cross. A handicap match! Then you enroll me in the tag tournament with no partner. And through it all, I am still here and still fighting. Hell, I even advanced in the tournament. But in the end, what am I fighting for? Am I fighting for all of you people here in this audience? I am the one up here getting beaten and battered, not you. Sure you cheer me and buy my shirts but in the end, it is me in the middle of this ring tired and bleeding. Yeah, you cheer but you also boo. How long till you people boo me. You booed Nighthawk real quick when he came back. So how long till you boo me? You did it once when I did what I wanted with my life.
[The fans are quiet as a few boo's begin to come from the crowd. Adam-X isn't smiling now as he lets it sink in to the crowd. Page and McCoy is shocked.]
[PAGE]: I don't know what I am hearing here. This can't be happening.
[MCCOY]: HALLEJUAH! He has seen the light. This is great.
[ADAM-X]: Road to Redemption for Robert. Sitting in this ring week after week, bleeding for you so you can throw your money away on T-shirts. What about what Adam-X wants. Does anyone ever think about what I want? You happy Robert? Is this what you wanted to hear? Is this the point you wanted to drive me to? Are you finally happy now Robert? NO? Good because your damn right this is what I am fighting for!!!!!!
[The fans explode as Adam-X begins to smile again.]
[ADAM-X]: These fans. My friends in the back. That is exactly why your little Road to Redemption will not beat me, Robbie. Every night, these people are out here cheering me and supporting me. My teammates in the back support me and watch my back. That is why your little Road to Redemption will fail because of each and everyone of these fans out here.
[The fans explode again cheering loudly.]
[MCCOY]: That dirty cheating, lying....
[ADAM-X]: The fans and the Authority are not the only reasons you are going to fail Robert. You are going to fail because you have made mistakes. The biggest mistake of all is thinking that "The Revolution" Shawn Andrews is going to be the end all for yours truly. I think you already realize that you make a mistake by thinking you could control him and use him against me. Shawn is not controlled by anyone. But you did have one thing right and that is the hatred that he has for me.
SHAWN ANDREWS. Last time I was in this ring, you and I stood here and stared each other deep in the eyes before trying . I saw the same thing I have always seen when I have looked into that void. I saw that hatred you have for me just as you saw the hatred that I have for you. There is nothing to suger coat here just as you said on WRESTLINGDIGEST.COM. You hate me and I hate you. You are one of the top talents in the business, hands down. There are few that could ever stand up to you because of your knowledge and love of this sport. I respect that if nothing else and I give credit where credit is due. This has been a long time coming Shawn. Are we the same men that we were in the NAWA? Not even close. Are we the same men from that unfortunate time in the NWC. Not by a long shot. What we are is two men on a collision course. This is something that has been building from a long time. [Adam-X throws the microphone down to the mat and goes from turnbuckle and turnbuckle. The fans are exploding for the superstar as he keeps rilling them up. The cheers getting louder and louder as the scene fades to commercial.]
