[PAGE] Welcome back Ladies and Gentlemen as we are about to get underway here on WILDFIRE!!!
[MCCOY] That is right. It is time for the "GET OUT OF LINE AND GET YOUR ASS HANDED TO YOU" Example Match for Adam-X
[PAGE] I can't argue with you there. Seems that Marshall took offence to some of the things that Adam-X did last week on Wildfire so he set this special match up for him. The special part is that no one but Marshall knows Adam-X will face.
[MCCOY] Now maybe he will learn to tow the line after he gets a good beating in that ring tonight.
[PAGE] No one should count Adam-X out though. It may have been over a year since he stepped into a ring but he is at a hundred percent now with no more lingering injuries. The man has done it all. Multiple Heavyweight champion. Multiple Tag team champion as well as other titles through the years. He was once part of and a founding memeber of one of the greatest tag teams to go down in history in X-FACTOR! He has trancended wrestling to a profitable acting and endorsement career. And through it all, he has stayed a true fan favorite where ever he goes as well as a top ticket seller and headliner.
[MCCOY] Are you done yet? Because if you are, I would like to hear "Diamond" Lou Walsh do the ring annoucement.
[The lights of the arena go out suddenly. Complete darkness fills the whole are as the P.A. screams to life as well as the giant screen. Dark, black and white video fills the screen with the Authority logo and words flashing with water marks and scratches. The crowd explodes as lights start swirling around the arena and the music comes to life.]
[Two fireworks shoot from the lighting rig above the ring and down to the stage, criss crossing to form a giant silver X in the air. They hit the stage causing two giant explosions happen on the stage. The lights in the arena come back on fully as a figure walks out of the opening. The crowd is on their feet and deafening the arena as Adam-X is in the arena.]
[With his neck length blond hair hanging freely, Adam-X stares at the arena with his trademark mischevious smile across his face. He is ready for action as he is in his wrestling gear. Wearing black tights and boots, they have the Adam-X logo stitched on the sides. The circled X with fire coming up from a point on the knee to envelope it on the high thigh on both sides. His upperbody is covered with the black AUTHORITY:CSWA T-shirt. The sides are split to show off his muscle tone and hard work. He is in better shape then ever as he stands there, well defined and bigger then the last time he wrestled. His right elbow has a black brace on it. His fists and wrists are wrapped in white athletic tape and covered in black electrical tape.]
He stands on the stage and soaks in the cheers. He soaks and absorbs every scream and cheer for him. He looks around and throws his arms over his head to form and X. The crowd screams even louder as he does this.]
[WALSH] Coming to the ring, weighing in at 244lbs. and standing at 6'1", he hails from Seattle, WA. He is the 'X-PERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!" ADAAAAAMMM-XXXXXXXX!!!!!!!
[Adam runs down the ramp to the ring. He stops to play with the fans before he jumps on the apron of the ring. He slingshots over the top rope to the middle of the ring, where he turns so the entire arena can see him. THe fans are on thier feet screaming and cheering for him. He goes over to each turn buckle, getting the fans even more rabid, lifting his arms into an X. After all four turn buckles have been hit, he goes over to the corner and takes off his shirt. He holds it up high before throwing into a young womans arms at ringside. She stares and takes off her shirt to put on the one he just gave her. The sides being split open allow the fans and every to see, well, everything down the sides. The crowd cheers loudly as Adam-X smiles wide and points over to it.]
[Adam moves back to the middle of the ring where he stares at the entrance, awaiting his opponent to come out so he can see who he is facing. The smile has left his face and he is ready as the professional side has come out and he is ready to fight this mystery opponent. ]
[PAGE] Adam is in the ring and ready. A look of intensity screaming from his face as he along with all of us wait to find out who his opponent is.
[Without warning Robert Marshall steps out onto the rampway and points down at Adam-X]
[Marshall]: Well Adam, the time has come. There you are standing in the ring wondering who in the hell I am come get to walk past me and kick your ass. [Marshall pauses] I thought long and hard about several people who could do the job tonight but discarded them for one reason or another. I also seriously thought about putting you in the ring against one of your fellow Authority members {huge pop which forces Marshall to look at the fans in annoyance] BUT that wouldn't of been any fun. I'll save that for when it good really screw one of you over.
[Another pause]
[Marshall]: I even thought about sending The Loose Cannon or Jeremiah Blackwell out here to teach you some manners but hell why give you something you want. So I scratched those names off too. [Marshall begins pacing] I even thought of hiring one of your old drinking buddies from the good old days to come out and slap some sense into you but well The Seal and Xanibus thought you weren't worth the effort.
[Adam-X takes a step forward and leans against the ropes acting bored at what Marshall is saying. Marshall stops pacing and lifts his free hand up as if to silence the crowd]
[Marshall]: And then it came to me. Why not let someone who needs to let off some steam come down there and kick your damn ass for awhile. So that being said your opponent for tonight is Jack Cross............
[PAGE]: Jack Cross!!
[MCCOY]: That's what the man said Eddie. Former CAL tag team champion Jack Cross. You know him right??
[MARSHALL]: And by the way Adam. He's right behind you.
[A commotion from the front seats erupts and a very angry looking Jack Cross hurtles the security railing and slides into the ring]
WHACK!!!!
[PAGE] My GOD! Jack Cross has slide into the ring and just leveled Adam-X with that kendo stick. He never saw it coming.
[MCCOY] That was beautiful. Well, I think we know who Adam's Oppenent is for tonight. Former CAL tag team champion, JACK CROSS!!
[Adam-x winces and pulls against as the first blow lands squarely across his back. WHACK! Again, Cross levels him again sending the superstar to his knees. Marshall stands on the stage and smiles before walking to the back. Alexander motions for the bell as Cross swings again. WHACK! The shot from Cross lands directily across the neck of Adam. Adam-X whences again moving away on his knees down to the mat. Wearing his black AXIS shirt with grey and orange jeans, he throws the kendo stick out of the ring as the bell rings, signaling the start of the match. ]
[PAGE] And we are underway as the referee signals the start of the match.
[MCCOY] Cross has wasted no time tonight as he went directly for the surgically repaired neck on Adam-X. He has been out a little over a year having that neck fixed.
[Cross leans over and picks up Adam-X by his neck length blond hair. He sends him back to the mat with a hard lariat that almost takes his head off. Cross goes right back over to Adam and begins to keep him down with a series of stomps and kicks to him.]
[MCCOY] This match is beautiful but it is going to be over before you know it. Cross is not giving the former "X-perience of a lifetime" a chance to even get in it.
[PAGE] Don't count Adam-X out. He may be a little rusty but anyone who has watched wrestling in the past, knows what that man can do out there.
[MCCOY] From the looks of it, losing is what I say he is going to do out there.
[Cross picks Adam back up by the hair, scooping him up just as he rises to his feet. Cross drops Adam across his knee into a vicious backbreaker. The crowd is booing loudly as Cross stands up. Cross looks around with a sick smile, his scar showing under the lights. He looks down and kicks Adam-X again hard. He pulls him off the mat and shoots him across the ring into the ropes. Adam bounces off and ducks a clothesline from Cross. Adam springs off the ropes again but this time is met with a dropkick to the face. Adam connects with the mat as Cross jumps up.]
[PAGE] Cross is not giving an inch to Adam whatsoever. If Adam doesn't get things together quickly, he won't be able to get into this match.
[MCCOY] Marshall said he was going to punish Adam for his actions last time and he is doing a good job on it by bringing in Cross. I think that this will be a major example in the back about crossing Marshall. Plus it is nice to see one of those cheating Authority members get what they deserve.
[Cross is over on Adam and hits him with a cover.]
[PAGE] Cross goes for the pin as Barry Alexander slides to the mat to make the count.
[ALEXANDER] ONE....
TWO...KICKOUT!!!!
[MCCOY] Adam-X kicks out strongly. He may be down but he isn't close to being out...YET!
[Cross runs back to Adam and begins to hit him with hard right hands. He pulls Adam-X back up and locks him an collar and elbow tie up. Adam makes a move by locking Cross in an arm bar. Cross quickly reverses it and getting behind Adam. Adam can't react quick enough before he is airbourne with a belly to back Suplex. Adam-X hits the mat with the back of his neck. He lays there as the boos radiate for Cross throughout the arena.]
[MCCOY] Ladies and Gentlemen, you are watching the changing of the guard. Adam-X used to be something great but like boy bands, he is on his way out as Cross is taking him apart out there.
[PAGE] I have to agree with you as much as I loathe to say it. This is nothing like Adam-X as he just can't mount any offense out there tonight. Those kendo stick shots didn't help but still, this is just disheartening to see this happen to him.
[MCCOY] He brought it all on himself, Page so stop it before you start crying like a little girl again.
[Cross grabs Adam-X back up to his feet and irish whips him hard into the corner. Adam hits the corner hard. He looks up to see Jack Cross running full speed at him. Cross goes for an avalanche but Adam-X ducks out of the way just in time. Jack Cross hits the turnbuckle hard and staggers back a step. Adam-X comes back up, locking in a inverted face lock. Adam drops Cross to his knee with an inverted face lock to knee DDT. Cross goes down as does Adam-X.]
[PAGE] WHAT A MOVE BY ADAM-X! WHAT A MOVE BY ADAM-X!
[MCCOY] It was beautiful move but one of pure desperation. Adam-X is going to have to come up big from that to get back into that match.
[ Both men are to their feet by this point. Cross goes for a punch that lands on Adam-X's jaw. Adam takes the hit and gives one back to Cross. Both men stand there in the ring going punch for punch as Adam-X seems to have a second wind for the match. Adam-X blocks a punch and continues in with a series of punches and kicks to Cross. Rights and lefts connecting with Cross as Adam is going for it all. The fans are screaming loudly as Adam-X is getting back into the match. ]
[PAGE] What an assualt by Adam-X as he is getting into this thing finally.
[MCCOY] Looks like you spoke to soon, Page.
[ Cross blocks a hard punch by Adam. He moves his hand down around Adam-X's neck and throws a knee into his midsection. Cross takes Adam by the hair and throws him out of the ring. Alexander is over blocking the ropes and pushing back away from Adam. Adam lays on the outside, pulling himself to the apron to get back in. Cross is argueing with the referee as Mitchell Keast, Cross's manager, runs over nailing Adam-X with the kendo stick.]
[PAGE] OH, that is not right! This has turned into a damn two on one as Keast, Cross's Manager nails Adam-x with the kendo stick.
[MCCOY] Like Adam hasn't done worse in the past. It is just catching up with him.
[Cross pushes Alexander aside and walks over to the ropes. He leans over through the ropes and pulls on Adam-X's hair, pulling him up onto the apron. Adam grabs Cross's black hair and jumps down off the apron, hitting a hard neck snap on Cross. Cross falls back to the mat, holding his throat trying to get air. Adam slides back into the ring and over to Cross. Adam-X picks up Jack Cross into an underhook DDT. Cross hits the mat hard as Adam rolls him over, punching him with a series of jabs.]
[PAGE] And Adam-X is back in the match and the fans are screaming their approval.
[MCCOY] Sheep! All of them! Just sheep!
[Adam-X picks Cross up and slingshots him with an Irish Whip into the ropes. Adam bounces off the opposite ropes and leaps in the air catching Cross across the face with an Asai Leg Lariat across the face. Adam jumps up as the crowd is screaming. He grabs Cross by the hair and pulls him up. Cross goes for a kick but Adam catches his leg and lifts him up, dropping him into a knee breaker.]
[PAGE] Adam starts to work on the right knee of Cross. That can only mean one thing. That he is starting to get Cross ready for the X-calibre.
[MCCOY] That move just isn't nice. As much as I dislike the man, that move of his is deadly and just painful to look at.
[PAGE] I can't believe that I heard a compliment come out of your mouth for Adam-X.
[MCCOY] And you never will again. Let's get back to the match.
[Cross is up but favoring his right leg. Adam has been laying stomps into the knee to weaken it more. Cross hits Adam with a hard right that dazes the superstar for a second. Cross goes for another punch, but Adam blocks it, flipping him around, and locks him around the waist.]
[PAGE] German Suplex by Adam-X as he is taking it right back to Jack Cross.
[MCCOY] Looks like Keast has something to say about that.
[Keast is up on the ropes argueing with the referee. Adam-X gets up and looks at Mitchell. Adam runs to the ropes at him but Mitchell jumps down before Adam can get to him. Adam turns around only to have Jack Cross hit him hard with the Rolling Spear.]
[MCCOY] That rolling spear is a trademark move of Cross. He has the pin and Alexander is down to count it.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!!!
TWO!!!!
KICKOUT!
[PAGE] Adam-X kicks out after two to stay in this but he has got to keep attention to Cross.
[Cross and Adam get up around the same time. Cross goes for a lock up but Adam blocks it and hits a hard kick into Cross's midsection. Adam grabs Cross up, hitting a hard face first powerbomb on him. Cross hits the mat hard with his face. A small trickle of blood comes from his right eye. Adam goes for a cover. ]
[MCCOY] He just cheated somehow but he is going for the cover.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
KICKOUT!
[PAGE] And Cross kicks out at two. It is going to take a lot more to get Cross out of this match.
[Adam-X picks up Cross into a collar and elbow tie up. Adam-X turns Cross and locks him up, throwing him to the mat with a T-Bone Suplex. Adam is up quickly and runs to the corner, jumping on the top rope. Adam leaps into the air towards Cross as he is on the ground. Adam connects hard with Cross and the mat as he hits a Corkscrew Moonsault Splash. The fans are screaming loudly and really into the match. Hardly anyone is in their seat.]
[PAGE] What a highrisk move from Adam-X as he goes for the pin again. He is trying to get this one over and done with.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
TH..>KICKOUT!!!!
[MCCOY] And Cross is out and we are still going in this matchup. I have no idea how this is going to end...oohh, wait I do. Cross is going to pull this one out to show that cheaters, like the Authority, never win.
[Adam-X stands up and grabs Cross back up onto his feet. Adam-X lays him down again with a hard clothesline. Cross falls but rolls over to get up. Adam runs against the ropes, and springs off towards Cross again.]
[PAGE] Hard running lariat from Adam-X that just about took Cross's head off.
[MCCOY] But Cross is already getting up to his feet.
[Adam-X looks at Cross and runs to the ropes. He springs off the rope to go after another running Lariat but does't get past the ropes.]
[PAGE] Keast trips Adam up and Adam hits the mat.
[Keast grabs Adam-X's leg and trips him up as he hits the ropes. Adam-X goes down to the mat and Cross is there laying kicks into him. Cross runs over to the ropes and uses them to spring of into a moonsault splash on Adam-X.]
[MCCOY] Keast is at least keeping this match fair.
[PAGE] FAIR? That son of a bitch is doing everything he can to keep Adam out of it.
[MCCOY] Careful there Eddie before you blow a gasket.
[PAGE] I don't have to, because I think the Authority has just blown one. Look now!
[Down the ramp, Mace and Kushner come running out to the ring. Both men in their wrestling attire and Authority T-shirts run around the ring towards Keast. Keast takes off running from the two Authority members. Keast runs around the ring and hightails it up the ramp with Kushner and Mace close behind him. Keast is out of the arena as is Mace and Kushner as they just made this match one on one again. Cross is up to his feet and has Adam-X's legs in his hands. He positions himself and falls down with Adam securely locked into a Figure four leg lock.]
[PAGE] Mace and Kushner have eliminated Keast from the equation to get this back to a one on one match up.
[MCCOY] The nerve of the Authority. The guy was just a manager and not doing anything but coaching his man through a match. Not like the actions of the Authority are going to help their mentor now, because the so called master of submission is about to tap out to Cross.
Adam is moving around as the pain is hitting him. His face is grimaced and showing the degree of hurt he is in. Cross is bouncing up and down to put more pressure Adam's knee. Alexander is asking him if he wants to give up as he is in the middle of the ring and Cross's back is to the ropes. Adam keeps shaking his head no as Cross has it locked tight. Adam pulls himself over to the left trying to move and get to the ropes. The referee is focused on Adam as Cross grabs the second rope, pulling himself up and putting more pain and pressure on Adam. Adam-X stops moving and moves in pain. Alexander keeps asking if he wants to quit. Adam keeps shaking his head no. Alexander stands up and Cross lets go of the ropes acting like he hasn't done anything. Alexander checks back with Adam and Cross grabs the ropes again.]
[PAGE] Damnit. Cross is pulling on the ropes to end this and cripple Adam.
[MCCOY] He is just using them to his advantage. You know the old story. It is not illegal if you don't get caught.
[Cross lets go of the ropes again before Alexander can catch him. Adam is in pain but still refuses to submit. Adam slowly gets to his hands and starts to rock. Cross looks worried as Adam screams in pain but manages to flip them over. Adam sits back and grabs Cross's feet. He crosses the legs and sits back.]
[MCCOY] MY GOD, What a counter.
[PAGE] X-CALIBRE!!! Adam just managed to, after several minutes locked in that figure four, to flip Cross over and counter it into the X-CALIBRE! This is over as no one can stand the X-CALIBRE!
[MCCOY] Wouldn't have you biased in this match, Eddie. But once it is locked on, there is no coming out of it.
[Cross is in immediate pain as Adam cinches it in. Cross is screaming as Alexander asks if he wants to give up. Cross manages to remember where he is and reaches out barely grabbing the bottom rope. He gets ahold of it, making Alexander to get over and make Adam break the hold. Adam shakes his head no as he locks down more on it. Alexander begins to count for Adam to break the hold.]
[MCCOY] Adam is trying to shatter Cross's knee just like he did Johnny Storm's back in the NAWA.
[PAGE] He has to Alexander's five count to break it or it is disqualification.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!
TWO!!!
THREE!!!
FOUR!!!
[PAGE] And Adam has broken the hold!
[As Alexanders hand was going to five, Adam broke the X-calibre and stood up. He is favoring the leg as Cross is holding his left leg and groin, still in pain. Adam goes over to the ropes and catches his breath as Cross pulls himself up to the second rope. Adam goes over and punches Cross across the face. He grabs him by his black hair and Irish Whips him into the far ropes. Cross counters by reversing it and sending Adam into the ropes. Adam bounces back and heads to Cross. Cross picks Adam up in the air but Adam flips grabbing Cross head and hitting an Arabian Face Buster on him. ]
[PAGE] ARABIAN FACEBUSTER. ARABIAN FACEBUSTER! Where does Adam keep pulling these moves from?
[MCCOY] I would tell you but we would probably be censored and taken off the air. Adam goes for the cover.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THR...KICKOUT!!!
[PAGE] Once again, Adam can not keep Cross down. This has been a back and forth match of Pay per view quality as neither man can fully get the upper hand on the other.
[MCCOY] When will Cross quit playing with him and put this away.
[Adam is back up and stumbles to the ropes. The last move taking as much out of him as it did Cross. Adam goes over to the corner and climbs up the ropes to the top turn buckle. Cross is up, favoring that left knee, as Adam sets up. He runs over knocking Adam's feet out from under him and causing him to hit the turnbuckle hard. Cross climbs up to the second turnbuckle and begins punching on Adam. Adam tries to get back up and fight Cross but Cross keeps pounding away. Cross turns Adam around on the turnbuckle to where he is facing the crowd. He hits Adam with a hard punch and climbs next to him grabbing him around the neck. Cross falls back hitting the Crossroad!]
[MCCOY] There it is. The end of all of this. Cross nails his finisher the Crossroad on Adam and it is over. Just ring the bell.
[PAGE] That may be happening in a second as Alexander is over to make the call and count.
[ALEXANDER] ONE!!!
TWO!!!
THRE....FOOT ON THE ROPES!!!!
[Alexander stops counting just in time as he sees that Adam threw his foot on the ropes.]
[MCCOY] You got to be kidding me! What a desperation move by Adam-X when he should have just stopped things there and let the pain and punishment end.
[PAGE] That was Adam-X being the ring veteran that he is right there. He couldn't have kicked out but knew where he was in the ring to get that foot up and on the ropes. Cross can't believe it.
[Cross is up with his hands in the air thinking that he has won. Alexander pulls Cross's arms down and explains to him that Adam got his foot on the ropes. Cross is livid as he screams at Alexander. Adam is just laying there still half out of it as his eyes are blinking. He is trying to get the cobwebs out. Cross sees him laying there and goes to the turnbuckles again. He climbs up to hit a moonsault. Adam jumps up from the mat and hits the top rope just like Cross did to him a few moments ago. Cross loses his balance and hits the turn buckles. Every man in the arena lets out a groan as they know what was hurt in that move.]
[PAGE] This is unbelievable as both men are just exhausted. I don't know where they keep coming up with these moves and the will to fight.
[MCCOY] This turned into one hell of a competition that we should have had at the first Pay Per View. You fans better be thankful your Whore, Adam-X, is letting you see this for free.
[PAGE] McCOY!
[Adam-X climbs up the ropes and jumps on Cross's shoulders. Adam-X flips around Cross and locks his legs around his head. Adam-X falls backwards to the mat, flipping Cross out into the ring. Cross lands hard on his face and chest.]
[PAGE] MY GOD! Adam-X just hit a reverse top rope hurricarana on Jack Cross. My God, these men, I don't know what to say. I know the fans are saying it all as they are up screaming.
[MCCOY] Now if they would only shut up.
[Cross is laying in the center of the ring. Adam-X stands up and leans against the ropes barely able to stand. He walks across the ring to the far corner and points up in the air. The fans are on their feet, screaming loudly for the Authority member. Adam-X jumps up to the top turnbuckle as the fans are cheering him on.]
[PAGE] This could be it. Adam-X is on the top turn buckle and signaled for it with his arms crossed. He is about to fly and go the "X-PERIENCE"! This could be the end of the match.
[MCCOY] I think those men will disagree with you!
[Adam-X crosses his arms over his head to go for the X-PERIENCE as two men slide into the ring. Ripper Longshanks and Blackwell, the Darkness, have arrived. Adam sees them and changes things. He leaps in the air hitting a corkscrew palancha on Blackwell as he gets close. Blackwell and Adam-X hit the mat hard. Ripper is there and begins to lay kicks into the back of Adam-X's head. Alexander motions for the bell.]
[MCCOY] The match is over as the Darkness seem to want a piece of the "X-Perience of a Lifetime"
[PAGE] Those two just stopped a great match as Adam was about to try to win it. Now Cross is Disquailified and Adam picks up the win.
[Ripper grabs Adam up by the hair as Blackwell gets up at the same time. RIpper and Blackwell begin beating on Adam with abandon. They have him backed into a corner as Jack Cross is back up to his feet. He looks at Ripper and Blackwell for a second as they lay a series of stomps on Adam-X.]
[PAGE] This is HORRIBLE. Adam-X just gave it all back there against a former CAL champ and these two are trying to end him here.
