The Central Magic team is due to have its first hit out on Saturday 15th October at the Rotorua Ekiden Relay. Whilst not a fixture on the Superseries calendar it will be a good chance for the team to gain some more publicity and work with new sponsor for the 2005/06 season.
Central Magic should be near the front of the Ekiden Relay with a few of the team members keen to display their running prowess. The road relay consists of seven legs which together loop Lake Roturua.
The Superseries begins proper on the 22nd October, with the first round of three events being held in the environs south of Auckland.
