Guidelines for Submission

The address of the CIWA website: http://www.geocities.com/centralindianawritersassociationMembership: Anyone submitting something for the web page must be a paid member for the current year.
What can be submitted: Currently we are accepting short stories, essays, poetry, how-to-articles, and photography. Send only your very best work. Our goal for the website is to encourage book marking, so visitors will want to return on a regular basis. We need a wide and interesting variety of writing; outstanding photography and poetry to pull people back for a second visit.
Sorry, we are unable to pay for your submission, but you will get a byline. We have no deadline for submissions and will accept material on an ongoing basis. CIWA is using one-time rights only, and ownership of the material remains with the author.
Articles, columns, essays, and short stories should be a minimum of 250 words, and a maximum of 600 words. Poetry should be no more than 25 lines.
All material should be e-mailed to CIWA Webmaster � Loretta A. Stradley, or snail mailed to CIWA, Submissions, P.O. Box 1071, Greenwood, IN 46142. Be sure to put Submission in the subject line on your email or the webmaster may delete your submission.
We reserve the right to have our web-page committee approve and edit all material before publishing.
