States -- Even though not considered a pre-race contender, Centennial was able to pull out a third place finish behind Urbana and River Hill. Brian finished 15th and barely received a medal. Jesse stayed with him for most of the race and finished in 18th. He was followed by Bret in 20th, Nevin in 42nd, and McCrory in 52nd.

Regionals -- Bret flies out into the lead and holds on for 1.5 miles. Brian and Jesse overtake him and finish 3-6, followed by Bret in 8th. McCrory gets pay back on Burke for Counties as he beats him by 2 seconds and they finish 16th and 17th. Simon outsprints Cascio in the last 100 to take the final states spot.

Counties -- Harvey takes the lead early and fades to third in 17:06. Jesse comes in 8th while Nevin nearly outsprints Mehdi and comes in 14th. Bret has a come back race to get 16th, and Burke outprints McCrory and Cascio to place 22-23-24. The team places second to River Hill by 14 points.

G-Town Prep -- Harvey is passed by Jesse in the final mile but still holds on to beat him and get fourth place in 16:46. Jesse comes fifth and both receive Pewter Cups. Nevin comes next in 21st as Bret and McCrory round up the top five with 32 and 34 place finishes.

Harford -- Harvey finishes strong in last mile to win by 10 seconds in 15:42. Jesse comes in seventh with a 16:32 followed by Nevin, Cascio, Simon, McCrory, and Bret. Numbers 3-6 all within 12 seconds; Team gets second to Bel Air. Burke goes out in fast in the B race but can't hold on as Miller leads the way.

Hammond -- Harvey wins again as Centennial easily defeats Altolton, Hammond, and Oakland Mills. Brett almost beats Nevin as he jumps back on varsity. Sammy burns Clayton down the homestretch to win the B race.

Glenelg Tri Meet -- Harvey easily wins race by 20 seconds over next-best finisher Jesse, after Maxon takes wrong turn on own course. Nevin came close after, followed by Cascio, Burke, and Simon. Clayton wins "B" race as do both the "A" and "B" teams.

Centennial Quad Meet -- Harvey gets nipped at the line by Sergio, both timed at 17:35. Jesse comes in next, followed by Nevin, Cascio, McCrory, Burke, and Miller. Brett runs last 800 without a shoe as the Centennial team finishes second behind River Hill.

Howard County Invitational -- Muddy conditions led to slow times. Sergiy comes out on top even though he "hates the rain." Harvey takes home the silver crosses the line in 17:19.69, as do the "A" and "B" teams. Jesse finishes 9th (18:15.60), Nevin 14th (18:28.18), Burke 24th (18:49.73), and Simon 29th.

Westminster Invitational -- Keuhne goes home cryin' after stopping before finish line, while Harvey takes home the hardware. Team places 3rd.

Time Trials -- Harvey surprises no one as he cruises to an 18:18 victory. Likewise, Nevin surprises no one by trying to stay with Harvey and then dying halfway through the race, but still finishing in 19:06. Jesse comes in 3rd with a strong 19:46 followed by all county cross country runner, 4th place at states 3rd place at regionals, Brett Alexander with a 20:02. Cascio and Hilchey go 5-6 with 20:04, and 20:06 with Burke rounding up the top 7 with a 20:13 finish.
