This deer here was not a very big deer, and as you can see his rack wasn't that large.  He had 5 points.  I killed this deer at the same stand where I killed my large buck.  I was sitiing in my stand early one morning when a doe came out of the woods, not 25 feet from my stand heading south across my fire line and as I kept watching a little buck came out behind her, but when he saw my stand he took off running west down the fire line away from my stand, but then he turned and went south further down.
The doe went on into the woods and turned east and crossed another fire line and then she proceeded down that away from my stand.  The little 5 point buck came out behind her but when he saw my stand again he did a little dance and took off back into the woods to the west.  I kept a sharp watch because I figured he might come out again, and I was right because he crossed my fire line about 50 yards west of my stand going north.  I said to myself"little buck that is the third time you crossed my fire line if you cross again I'm going to kill you and take you home to eat."
I had no more than thought that, then that buck came back across and I shot at him.  When I went to get him I thought at first I had killed the doe, until I moved his head and saw the five point antlers.  I also saw where the bullet had hit a two inch diameter tree and had glanced off and hit the deer, I really don't know how I killed this buck, it was just a lucky shot.
