My Geocities site was upload in July 2003. The keywords I used were cely oneill logo. when I first did a search, before uploading, the keywords had the total number of searches.
Most common browser to date was MSIE6. MSIE5 also had its nose in with 0.11% of visitors using it.When the first report was taken on the 15 August the MSIE4.5 popped in the equation via a Macintosh PPC. It didn't return until the last report was taken on the 7 November. The most common screen resolution was 1024x720 with a total of 92.69 utliizing this site screen. 800x600 coming a close second. There was 0.12% of visitors who had a resolution of 640x480. Windows NT 5.1 was the most popular operating system with a total of 96.34% visitors using it. Windows 98 had a total of 3.49% of usage by the visitors. The page the most visitors came from was unknown, this percentage was 23.89%. Because the development of this site was a class project, so the visitors are mainly fellow students. With that being said it would be hard to give the site a fair report on overall statics unlees a wider range of groups, outside NCI, were able to view it. But who else would be searching for our keywords besides ourselves? On the 31 October, my site was found, by a fellow student, using my first two keywords, cely oneill, it was ranked number 3. Using my first three keywords I found it at number ONE. I feel the reason my site got into the search engines was because I put a link on another site that I have whick is ranked number seven. So becasue of this all other sites were found. Using a combined use of celyoneill, it picked up all my geocities pages as well as my other sites I have up.
