Here at Joes Fruit and Vegetables, we have six permanent staff. All have vast experiences in fruit and vegetables.

First we have Mike. He is our Assistant Manager. He grew up with farming. His family, for generation, have been big in this industry. The same farm has been in the family for four generations.

Because Mike knew so much about the produce, but didn't want to stay on the far, his next avenue open to hom was to sell it. which he is a master at. What Mike doesn't know about his fruit and vegetables is not worth knowing. Mike has been with us for twenty years.

Next we have Joe. He came from a very different background to Mike. Joe didn't get into thi business till he left school. After visiting a school friends farm, while still at school, he decided to give it a go. And he hasn't looked back. Joe has been with since leaving school fifteen years.

Now come Bridget. She is in the same situationas Mike, where her family is also in the business of growing fruit and vegetables. Her family has omnly been in farming for fifty years but their reputation is as big as mikes family. She lives and breathes fruit and vegetables. Give her a name of any vegetable and she will give you a recipe for it and also the best way to cook it. Bridget has been with us for twelve years.

Emilys family own a dairy farm but also grow a few fruit and vegetables. Their farm is only twenty years old but her family are amoung one of the most respected in the field. Emily didn't like the farm much but because she has a whelm of knowledge, decided to go into the selling side of things. When she was at school, she used to help her family on week-ends, selling their produce at a raodside atall.Her family's lose is our gain. She is a very knowledgable person. Emily has been with us for ten years, since she left school.

Next we have Mary. She has gain all her knowledge of fruit and vegetables while working here at Joes. She grew up in the city not knowing anything about them. But since working here she had gain much knowledge from the rest of the staff you would think that she also grew up on a farm. Mary has been with us for ten years.

Last but not least, is Betty. She has been with us for the last five years and also has a wealth of knowledge in the fruit and vegetable area. We know that when we employed her she would be good but she has exceled in her knowledge, which was learnt from her fellow staff mates. Show her a fruit or vegetable and she , like Bridget, can give you a great recipe for it and also the best way to cook it. Before coming to us she work on her familys farm but wanted to expand her horizon. Her familys loss is our gain.
