We are looking for a player / coach to play for our 1st XI during the 1999/2000 New Zealand season
The person we are looking for will be a proven top order batsman who has the ability or qualifications to coach from junior level to adults. Our club has 11 teams ranging from 7 year olds just starting out to adults who've played cricket all their lives. Are you interested in Playing and coaching in New Zealand ??? We are able to pay you for coaching if you want to come and play in New Zealand.
The position we have available is that of coaching director. The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of our coaching programme to all our junior teams up to our 2nd XI as well as playing for our 1st XI.
Our club plays in the Marlborough Cricket Association competition and has produced a number of very successful players over the past few seasons. the most notable of these players are Carl Bulfin (currently Wellington Firebirds, NZ 'A' and NZ World Cup Squad) and Jarrod Englefield (Central Districts Stags, NZ Youth Captain, and NZ Accademy member). Brent Hefford has also represented Central Districts at Emerging Players Level this past season.
