9pm - Free "Lanky is the moniker being used by former Darby Jones member
Frank Stabile, who spent last summer creating this solo debut. The
songs, largely written and recorded in Stabile�s home, exhibit a wide
range of stylistic sensibilities, from the perkiness of acoustic pop, to
the driving feel of crisp guitar-based rock, to gently crooning,
singer-songwriter folk. Stabile�s voice is astoundingly smooth,
making it remarkably easy to digest lyrics that are sometimes tinged
with angst and bitterness. As a result, the album can be both dark and
bright, always tugging at your heartstrings and leaving you wanting

This is another multiple
band bill. We're really looking forward to it after the success of the
Wood and Wires show. The Heavenly States are on tour from San Fransisco,
and just released a split with Coldplay and the Postal Service.
Annabelle is a very powerful band from Wooster. You aren't going to want
to miss them. Opening will be a full band set from Swimming with Angels.
You'd be a fool not to attend. |
This show is going to dish up some tasty rocknroll like you've never even seen before.
