Cellar door is many things.
In this particular medium, we're a music venue and coffee shop. We're
located in the historic district of Downtown Madison. Our fifteen foot
ceilings and exposed brick walls bring an airy atmosphere that
compliments the cozyness of our hard wood floors and intimate lighting,
We book a variety of
shows at Cellar Door. We do not cater to one specific genre. Whether
it's the angelic melodies of singer/songwriter Rachel Bruening or the
raw unaltered rock of The Wood and Wires, if you're a music fan, you
won't be disappointed.
Our Open Mic Night has
been changed to thursday nights starting in December. It will be hosted
by one of our favorite artists,
Xela. Even if you're not a musician you
can come and enjoy some of the best songwriters around.
