| When Saga, Shura and Camus enter the cancer temple they begin feeling a strange atmosphere. They approach it and discover that the entrance to "Yomotsu" is open (Yomotsu is the entrance to hell). They see an illusion and while they stop to figure out what it is, a barrage of ghouls attack the three Saints. Camus suddenly points out that Aldebaran's cosmo has vannished and Shura tells Saga that they should get rid of all the ghouls, but the second insists that they should go to where Athena is. Saga uses his Galaxean Explosion to destroy the illusion and the three Saints go upwards. Meanwhile at Aries, Shion is angry that Saga and company have not abandoned the Cancer temple yet. Then he tells Dohko that the spectres will take care of all of the Saints. Back at Cancer, Saga, Camus and Shura run towards the exit of the temple and when they come out they find themselves on Budha's palm. Saga then understands that it's Shaka the one who is creating all these illusions. Saga, angry with Shaka's illusions warns him that he will be the next to die. Shura tells Saga that they should leave, but Saga tells him that it will be imposible to leave until Shaka is dead. Saga launches an attack on the illusions and Aioria, the gold Saint of Leo warns Virgo about Saga's attacks. Shaka uses a protective barrier to prevent the attack and burns his cosmo to start a counterstrike. He uses his special technique to defeat all three of the spectres and Shion feels this back at Aries. Shion knows that he is the only one left to kill Athena and tries to get through Dohko, but he won't allow. As they prepare to fight, they are interrupted by the Dragon-Shiryu who asks his master's permision to replace him in this battle. Meanwhile, Mu keeps running upwards and wonders what happened in Cancer. He enters the Cancer temple and looks for the three Saints who were there, whole bodies can't be destroyed without leaving any pieces behind. Back at Aries, Shiryu is hit by Dohko who doesn't want him to interfere since he is blind. Shiryu asks his master why the Bronze Saints cannot interfere when the Sanctuary is being invaded, but Dohko tells him that it is Athena's wish and that they are too injured to fight in this bloody battle. Shiyu doesn't care about his injuries and refuses to let his old master fight in his place, but Dohko tells Shiryu that he doesn't want the Bronze Saints to die in this Sacred Battle because there is a great chance that all Saints might die with Athena. Shiryu is amazed with this fact, but it is yet another reason for him to fight with his master. Dohko asks Shiryu what would happen to Shunrei if he were to die. Shion gets tired of hearing them arguing and attacks them, of course Dohko stops the attack. Shion claims that he will kill both teacher and student to get through to Athena. Shiryu becomes upset due to this, but Dohko tells him not to attack Shion. He tells Shiryu that Shion was the previous patriach of the Sanctuary and that he was the other surviving Saint who fought in the previous Holy Battle, but was then killed by Saga. He also tells Shiryu that Shion is Mu's master and then asks him not to intervene. Both men burn their cosmos, but there is a 243 year difference between the two and Shion gets the upper hand. Dohko has been alive all this time watching the seal that Athena placed at Rozan and Shion was given his youth back from Hades for this purpose. As the both men fight, Dohko is pushed against the wall due to Shion's power, but the old man survives and launches a counter attack. The Rozan 100 Ryu Ha! It's one hundred dragons! Shion uses the Crystal Wall to protect himself, but nothing can stop Dohko's attack, but the attack doesn't harm Shion much to Shiryu's and Dohko's surprise. Shion begins to laugh since now he is sure that Dohko is a harmless old man because his most powerful attack didn't harm him much. Dohko comments that young people have much more energy than old people. Shion prepares his Starlight Revolution to finnish off Dohko and explains that not even he can evade something that is all around him. Dohko falls unconcious while explaining this and Shion launches his attack. Shiryu quickly intervenes and is hit by the phantom's attack. The Dragon is out of the way and Shion nears Dohko to decapitate him, but in a flash, the Dragon Armor covers Shiryu, who attacks with his Ascending Dragon. Shion wonders what the blind dragon can do in that state and with a heavily damaged armor. Shion stops Shiryu's attack with one hand and before either can do anything more, Dohko wakes up and stops Shiryu. Shiryu then tells Dohko that he is a Saint and it is his duty to fight for peace, so Dohko finally gives in and lets his student fight. Shion uses his Starlight revolution once again, but it is now stopped by the Libra Armor, but Shion doesn't fear this because Dohko's body is too frail and small to wear this armor, but then Dohko starts burning his cosmo. It is not the cosmo of an old man, it is now the cosmo Dohko had 243 years ago! Dohko asks Shion if he knew why he always sat in front of the waterfall, it wasn't just to watch over the seal and before he says anything his skin starts to crack as if he were in a cocoon. Shiryu and Shion are amazed by this as Dohko starts taking the shape of an 18-year old boy with a tatoo of a tiger in his back. He tells Shion that Athena awarded him with the gift to preserve his youth using a technique that is the apparent death of gods. He received the mission to ready the new generation of Saints for this Holy War after the previous one. From that time on, Dohko's heartbeat was 100,000 times per year, where it should be 100,000 per day. In reality Dohko only aged 243 days! Shiryu now understands why Dohko always sat near the falls even if there was a storm. Dohko then tells Shiryu to go after Mu who is being persecuted by spectres. |
