| Dohko tells Shiryu to be careful on the way since after dealing with the spectres they will need to protect Athena. Shion tries to stop Shiryu, but Dohko protects him, then paralyzes Shion to allow Shiryu's exit and put on the Libra Armor. Shion and Dohko are now at the same level and prepare to fight each other, although Shion doesn't think so, then attacks Dohko. Dohko attacks him too and they're thrown into a stalemate, a hundred days war. Dohko and Shion decide to give the fight their all and Shion uses his Stardust Revolution and Dohko his 100 Dragons, which ends up in a huge explosion when both powers colide. Shiryu, who is now running up to meet Mu is surprised when he feels Dohko's and Shion's cosmos dissapear. Mu feels it too and is surprised that Dohko was beaten so easily even if his opponent was his master. As Mu contemplates this, a powerful cosmo attacks him. Mu is paralyzed and Hades' regular spectres arrive. 20 spectres arrive and Mu cannot move. A tall spectre approaches Mu and asks where Saga and the rest are, they aren't very happy and their leader, Cyclops-Giganto decides to make Mu answer after Mu gives them an indirect answer. Giganto hits Mu with all his strength and sends Mu far for a while, then he asks the Gold Saint if there is any place to hide in the 12 houses, but Mu tells him that he doesn't know. He readies himself to kill Mu, but Butterfly-Papilon interferes and tells them to go to the next house while he takes care of Mu. Mu is able to move again as the spectres leave to the Leo temple and he feels he must warn Aioria. Mu feels a very powerful cosmo, the same that was paralyzing him and is astonished as he finds out that it's comming from Papilon. Meanwhile, at Hades' place, Radamanthys calls upon Frog-Zeros and asks him if there is any message from the spectres that they let go to the Sanctuary. The response is negative and Radamanthys starts wondering what could be going wrong. Four hours pass and Radamanthys decides to summon Papilon, but Zeros tells him that Papilon is one of the spectres who went to challenge Athena's Saints. Radamanthys now feels assured since he believes that Papilon himself could bury all of the Gold Saints by himself. Back at Cancer, Mu is confused when he's encountering a shapeless being and knowing that he doesn't count with much time he tries to retreat. The shapeless substance blocks Mu's way and tells him that he wants to fight him. The shapeless form starts releasing beams of light, which create holes on it, but Mu protects himself behind the crystal wall. He attacks with his own version of the Stardust Revolution, but the ugly, shapeless thing errupts and forms a larva. The larva opens and threads come out of it as it starts covering Mu. Mu tries to get rid of the thread, but Papilon tells him that it is imposible for him to prevent himself from being consumed by the threads. Soon, they will completely cover him and he will be without oxygen and die. Soon Shiryu arrives at the Cancer temple and feels both cosmos, but sees no one. Because of that he believes that Mu is at the Leo temple and runs towards that exit. After Shiryu leaves, Mu manages to destroy the threads that imprisoned him and starts looking for Papilon since he has vannished. Mu finds another cocoon and wonders who is his prisoner now, Papilon then speaks to Mu and tells him that he did that to himself in order to perform his ultimate transformation. Papilon's cocoon explodes and he reveals his ultimate form, He tells Mu that there is only one reason for him wanting to transform into this state, that reason is to kill Mu. Papilon tells Mu that he was the one who paralyzed him at the begining of the battle, but Mu responds that when it comes to psychokinetic abilities he is the most gifted among the twelve Gold Saints. The battle begins with Papilon burning his cosmo and launching a couple of pillars at Mu with his mind control. Mu stops them and tells his opponent that he won't be defeated by such a low level. He sends the pillars back and Papilon is forced to destroy them, just after he does that his body becomes paralyzed, just as Mu's was before. Mu asks Papilon if he'd rather be smashed against the floor or the wall, but the Spectre doesn't respond so Mu smashes him against the wall, then the ground! He trows Papilon up in the air and asks how many spectres arrived in the Sanctuary, but Papilon doesn't want to answer. Mu then uses his powers to make him whirl in mid air, then tells Papilon that he's going to make him whirl until death. Papilon asks Mu if he thinks that a loyal soldier to King Hades would do something so pathetic as to plead for his life, but Mu simply tells him that he's a spectre, so he can't let him live and resumes spinning him. Papilon starts shinning and Mu decides to use his Stardust Revolution to stop him, but after the impact, the lights around Papilon become butterflies that attack Mu and pretend to carry him into the Death world. Scorpio-Milo wonders if Mu has also perrished like Shaka, Dohko and Aldebaran after failing to sense his cosmo. Meanwhile Papilon wonders if Mu escaped by using his teleportation. Mu reapears and Papilon uses his attack once again, knowing that this time Mu won't get away. Mu strikes first with his Stardust Revolution, but Papilon, although he can't move at the speed of light, teleports out of the way at the right times. Papilon sends his butterflies at Mu, but he teleports out, then back again when the butterflies leave. Papilon asks Mu why he teleports back to his soon to be death place, but Mu answers that it isn't his death place he's teleporting to, but Papilon's. Papilon gets furious and uses his attack for a third time, this time he follows Mu to make sure he doesn't evade it, but this time a crystal net surrounds them like a spider web, much to Papilon's surprise. Papilon tells Mu that the butterflies don't stop until they have killed their target, but Mu tells him that if the attack continues, Papilon would be the next to die, then he wonders if death means anything to someone who is from hell. However Papilon responds that Spectres aren't dead people, they are normal human beings just like Saints who were chosen by the stars to serve Hades. Unlike Saga and the rest, they can die, he also tells Mu that Saga, Shion, Shura, Camus, Aprodite and Death Mask all betrayed Athena to come back to life. Papilon tries using his attack once more, but his butterflies are also trapped in the net, then Mu tells him that by using his attack on the net, that his own attack will take him to the world of the dead. Mu uses his most powerful attack, the Starlight Extinction to kill Papilon and his butterflies, he fears the spectres getting there because not even Aioria could beat that many of them. |
