| Seiya goes to Greece to meet up with Marin while Hyoga goes to Siberia and Shiryu to his sensei at Rozan. Meanwhile in Greece, Marin overhears Shaina telling her man to eliminate Seiya and also hears a rumor about the Crystal Saint being brain controled by the Pope of the Sanctuary. Seiya arrives and is almost imediately attacked by Shaina's men who claim that they won't be beaten by Seiya this time because they have become much stronger. Seiya however responds that he too has become stronger and easily dispaches of them. Not long after that Shaina shows up and attacks Seiya. Her men watch as the two fight and they claim that they have never seen Shaina fight with such fury and are sure of her victory. Seiya and Shaina keep fighting and after a while Marin shows up and attacks Seiya. She claims that she is only following orders and when she's close enough to him warns him that Hyoga is in danger. Seiya is confused by Marin's actions and her words, but decides to run away after she tells him to leave. Shaina tries to go on the pursuit, but is stopped by the Bronze Saint's mentor. Seiya decides to go to Siberia to help out his friend and is sure that Hyoga is already in Siberia. Meanwhile, Shiryu at Rozan is talking to his sensei about the Pope of the Sanctuary, but all he gets is that he is a very mysterious man and that Dohko doesn't really know much about him. Back at Siberia, Hyoga finds Jacob, a small boy from a nearby village and aids him since he is severely battered. Jacob tells Hyoga that some "bad" men came and forced everyone into labor, when Hyoga asks about the Crystal Saint, Jacob tells him that his mentor has changed a lot after he returned from the Sanctuary. Hyoga leaves Jacob in a cabin so he would rest and goes to check matters out on his own. He finds the Crystal Saint who sees him first and tells himself that Hyuga wouldn't be rushing to get to him if he knew that he was going to kill him. Hyoga meets the Crystal Saint who imediately posses a threat to him. After a short battle, Hyoga realizes he doesn't stand a chance without his armor and retreats. Some of the "generic" men of the Sanctuary are forcing the village people to build a pyramid for the Pope and Hyoga intervenes by defeating them. Meanwhile Seiya arrives at the cabin where Jacob is rested and he wakes him up. Jacob tells Seiya that Hyoga is in danger and where the location of the Bronze Saint. Seiya heads out and arrives just in time to save Hyoga from being shot in the head by a sniper who was hidding in the pyramid. The Crystal Saint shows up and Hyoga tells Seiya not to interfere since it is his fight. The two fight it out and Hyoga is hessitant to attack his mentor with all of his strength. When they're both about to unleash their final attack on each other, the Crystal Saint's head starts to hurt due to him starting to gain control over his own mind. Hyoga kills the Crystal Saint who with his last words tells Hyoga to stay on the straight path and faithful to his cause. The two Saints burry the Crystal Saint and leave back to where Saori and Shun are hidding in the forest, but little did they know about what was going on in Japan. In the hideout, Saori, Shun and Tatsumi watch the tv about the Kiddo Mansion and the Observatory being burned down. Saori and Tatsumi want to go, but Shun tells them not to since it is all a clever scheme to flush them out of hidding. Saori decides to follow his advice, but Tatsumi secretly heads out to the Mansion to rescue what little he can. As he's outside he is captured by the Pope's second hand man and the Incendiary Saint who later torture him so that he'd say where the helmet is being held. Even with all of his loyalty, Tatsumi is unable to keep his mouth shut and reveals the information. The Incendiary Saint goes to the forest near the battle ground of the battle with Ikki and the Black Saints. Shun defends the cabin and for a moment thinks he is doing a good job about it since he is not letting the flames get to him. The Incendiary Saint says that Shun will lose because not only does fire melt steel after a long time, but the flames are bouncing off into the forest and the cabin will burn either way. Shun is surprised by this and decides to launch an attack. His pointed chain attacks the Incendiary Saint, but the second releases a fire attack of his own and makes Shun's chains recede and soon starts surrounding the Bronze Saint in flames. Just before being defeated, the flames start to take shape of a Phoenix in front of Shun and Ikki appears. He thanks the Incendiary Saint for reviving him with the ardor of his flames and tells him to leave. The fiery Saint refuses to leave and says that he will beat Phoenix and sends a burst of flames at him. Ikki extends his hand and sends the flames back at their sender and tells him that he knows everything there is to know about fire and that flames cannot hurt him. Without much hessitation he uses the Demon Fist to defeat the Incendiary Saint who dreams of him being attacked by his own flames, goes catatonic and dies. Shun and Ikki rejoice upon being together again and on the same side as Seiya and Hyoga arrive at the cabin. They all go back to the observatory where the secret lab of the Kiddo corporation had remained unharmed. Shiryu shows up and the five Bronze Saints and Saori celebrate Ikki's reunion with them and the revived Saint tells them about the Sanctuary's evil and about how the Pope has the power to bend people's wills into his own. They all know who the enemy is and must defend the gold helmet at all costs and recover the rest of the Gold Armor. They go back to Japan to relax, Shiryu goes his own way and so do Ikki, Shun and Hyoga while Seiya takes Kiki (who now lives with them) to meet up with Miho. They walk down the beach when they encounter Marin, and a Silver Saint who calles himself "The Silver Saint" because he is the most powerful Silver Saint. Lacerta-Misty is about to fight Seiya as Miho and Kiki run away to warn Saori and any other Saint. Seiya fights Marin who attacks him and Seiya fakes to be killed. He is then burried and Marin is leaving. Misty says he will catch up with her and digs the spot where Seiya was burried. Seiya pops out of the sand without any injuries to him and comfronts the Silver Saint. His Meteor Punch is blocked and is thrown to the water by Misty's attacks. As Seiya is thrown some of his blood splaters on Misty and the second claims to be dirty and takes off his clothes to go bathe in the beach. Seiya then pops out of the water and tells Misty to get dressed. Misty wonders why Seiya wants him to put on his armor since he wouldn't stand a chance against him if he were wearing his Silver Armor. He does so and Seiya uses his Meteor Punch again, this time one punch goes through. Misty attacks, but Seiya stops it! They square off again and both collapse. Misty gets up first and tells Seiya that he was right when he mentioned that losing is a better way of gaining experience. He praises Seiya for his courage and dies. Seiya leaves to his house. Then Marin arrives at the beach with two other Silver Saints, Cetus-Moses and Canes Verasiti-Asterion. They dig up the grave that reads "Pegasus" and find Misty's body. They acuse Marin of threason and Cetus knocks her out when Seiya senses the danger his former mentor is going through rushes to save her. |
